Lets discuss anything and everything IPhone. I have the 3gs. A cool free app I found is Fake Caller . You are able to set app to call you at a cetain time so you may get out of any situtation. You may edit the picture and name that calls you. You dont actually use any minutes as the app just simulates you recieving a call.
Nmobile has a free app for speed traps. Have yet to use it but looking forward to seeing if it works in my city as participation is key for app to know where speed traps are.
You Version Holy bilbe is also free and has a lot of features.

I really like the Shazam application. All it does is that it listens to music in your surroundings and after about 10sec it'll name the Artist, song title, album, and a shortcut to download it from iTunes.
Then there's ColorSplash and Juxtaposer. Those are just apps with some elemets of Photoshop in 'em...very neat and well worth the money.

There are sooooo many cool apps for the iphone. I paid $5.99 for the Baseball Superstars game and it was well worth it. There is pretty much an app for everything, which is really cool.
I was a little bit anti-iphone for a while, and then my buddy got one so I started playing with it and it grew on me. I finally got one and my wife liked mine so much I got her one to. The cool part is just about everywhere I go nowdays has WiFi so it makes the phone even better.....especially the capability to download stuff directly from the phone's itunes store.
I'm a happy iphone user

Flixster is really useful, shows all surrounding theaters plus movie times and trailers and all that good stuff. Pandora is nice too, I listen to my zune or ipod quite a bit and this app is super handy if my zune dies in my car or I forget it when I'm at work or something.
Wildwest pinball is a lot of fun when you're bored. Same with Paper Toss, it's quite addicting too. Anyone play it? I'm stuck at 32 on easy.

The Ipod Touch is the same without the phone and camera, but to access internet you have to have a wifi connection but I can download all the apps. I love Pandora, LastFM, and all these little game apps.
Every time my husband has to make a decision, he flips a coin. lol. So I download a coin toss app just for him.

Still debating on either going with a blackberry or an Iphone I currently have verizon and im in a month to month contract I love verizons service never had a problem but I heard Att has a lot of dropped calls this true?

As far as AT&T's service, I guess it depends where you live. You shouldn't have any issue with cell service in Boston. Now if you lived in a rural area that might be a different story. I've never had issues with my calls being dropped. I had Verizon for nearly 9 years and I can't tell the difference between the two.

Shazam is great for when you don't know what that song is called and you always wanted to know...
Two others I would recommend are Pandora, which is an internet radio program that allows you to select a song, artist, or genre, and then plays similar artists/songs/ect...
**** My Life is another good one. It goes as FML in the ITunes store... Great for a good laugh on a bad day...

Has anyone jailbroken their iPhone? Me and a friend were watching some of videos on it, looks like there's some pretty insane stuff you can do with it. I'm about to look into doing it right now and probably do it tonight when I get off work. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

the Vu is a terrible phone. That's actually what I upgraded from to my 3GS from. The touch screen sucks and there's really nothing cool on it. It's basically a Shine except it's touch screen. You will be much more happier with an iPhone, that's a promise.
