Just got the Iphone 3GS
Finally got one since it now takes video. Really easy to use and it will be hard to go back using WM or any other pda device.

My phone's got a 5.0mp camera. If I had AT&T I would probably get the iphone, but I don't. We'll see if Verizon gets it.
Oh yeah! 3rd gen iphone is finally out!
Now it can recieve SMS messages, it can copy & paste, and do video, and all other kinds of things that my Blackberry has been capable of doing for years!
Yaaaay!
LOL @ Iphone.

But really, the iphone isn't exactly behind the times, Jack.
congrats on the phone though, I am sure you will enjoy it alot, no denying it has a slue of functional and random apps to make it a great tool.
i can understand copy and paste,
but no SMS? no Video?..,.. REALLY?
Tethering? lol... yeah, i really want to run my laptop through my 3g blackberry. No thankyou, i have wireless highspeed.
tethering is about useless feature for me.
My wife has an ipod touch, it is pretty click,a few of my friends have iphones, honestly, i dont see the huge thing about them, the only thing an Iphone has over my blackberry is that sweet touchscreen, but that really is not that big of a deal to me.
8310 for years...best phone EVAR!!!!
thats what i have!
yah, iphone is a great phone, i think the blackberry curve is about the most user friendly smartphone out there though. its good that apple is finally getting everything up to par now though

MMS is what it was "missing". Though it was really easy to get around. And, all those "missing" features could've easily been downloaded through cydia. Which doesn't take past 10 min.
I just posted vids up top of the post with music from the car so you can gauge sound quality. Vid was taken at dusk and it was darker than what the vid shows. Ill take other vids in the daytime later on.

I love my 3Gs.
When I don't feel like typing, I use the voice recorder to make a message and email it.
I have an iphone for personal use and a blackberry for work and the iphone kicks the **** out of my blackberry. There are very very few things I like better about the blackberry.
I had two months left on my verizon contract and opted to buy out of it. Verizon will lead you to believe that there is a $175 termination fee, but each month your into your contract that amount goes down so it cost me like $14 to buy out of my contract.

The phone had a hickup 2 days after I got it. The phone would not work which a simple on off fixed. Today I got a white screen,I had to hold home and lock button to do a reboot. I will call apple store and see what they say.
that stinks, but in my experience the apple support is pretty darn good.
Nice. I just have the 32gb Ipod Touch and I'm in love with it.
I couldn't wait to upgrade for the iPhone because my phone crapped out 1 month before I was due for an upgrade so I got a BlackJack II.

one of the reasons im glad i dont have tons of disposable income is that by the time i can finally afford something they have most of the kinks worked out.

the lcd busted on mine and the warranty doesn't cover it. now its $200 to replace and another 70 to extend the BS coverage that they offer.
