Dove a 2010 mustang GT last night!!!!!!!!!!!
i got to drive a 2010 grabber blue GT with a 5 speed last night!!! i really liked the car the sound of the exhoust for a stock car was great, the shifts were nice close and it took turns pretty will for a car that heavy.
i was shocked when they were asking 33k for the car i thought it would have been around 38k and they had 4 other 2010s to!!!!!
and fords quality much better in the 05+ cars then the 99-04 cars, my next car is going to be an 2008 bullitt....god i love high land green!!!

Bullitts are what I was going for, but the monthly payments for the new ones were more than I could afford. And every time I find a gently used one (or even a new '08 still on a dealer lot,) someone else beats me to it. Oh well . I guess I'll have to stick with a standard GT.

I love the car though, lol.

agreed, i would not spend more than 30 grand for a GT. camaros have 400 - 425 HP for about 31 - 33 K.
that is why i don't buy new. besides the fact that the car depreciates and loses it's value immediately, whereas the car i have currently, loses it's value gently for each proceeding year, and didn't cost 30 grand.

I'm jealous!! They are really growing on me.
I saw one at the Jax Mustang show to celebrate the new scratch off tix (pics to come soon of the show when I have time) and they were giving one away. It was the first one I saw in person and I actually really liked it. Not going to lie.

I'm a big fan of the new body style, will be an even bigger fan of the 2011s when Mustang will finally have a respectable entry v8 engine. I looked at a '10 Mustang the other day when I went to the dealership to order some mouting clips. It wasn't the first '10 Mustang GT I had looked at but I was showing the girlfriend all the new differences. I looked at all the lines closely, thought about how I felt about the plastic, the taillights, hood, still loved every single bit of it. I sat in it, thought about the one piece dash, the interior build quality is execellent, got a little comfortable and I decided that I still loved it. I walked around to the window sticker, 31K, woah!. Kind of pricey. But still a nice car. I'd like to drive one.

I just saw the test drive for the 2010 GT on the speed channel, with Tommy Kendall, and I'm impressed. Car looks great and I think I might like to own it. Maybe after the price comes down a lil bit though.. Maybe a 2011 or 2012 model, if everything goes like the usual 5 year model thing Mustangs go through. It'll be about time for a new car in a year or 2, for me.. LOL..

LOL at you guys freaking out about the price. 31k is cheap. Hell, my car was 33K sticker, the Termi was 41K......And the Camaro has almost as much horsepower as it does. But cheaper. Times aren't cheap.

I finally saw one up close in person yesterday. They had a grabber blue base model V6 in the front of a Lowe's store where my friend works. Some local car dealership had it out there for people to look at and sit in. The color was absolutely gorgeous! The car looked awesome from the front and the side, but the rear was still dog-**** ugly. I was hoping that it would look better in person, but it didn't.
The plastic on the rear is the only thing that didn't look so bad up close, but I still think it could look better. I didn't realize how big the medallion on the back would be from pictures. I'd venture to say it's at least 40% larger than the 05-09 models. It's about as big around as a tea saucer plate. Definitely too big and it overwhelms the decklid panel area. I also wasn't impressed with the rear mounted antenna. It's about time Ford moved it from the hood, but it just looks stupid because the base of the antenna is so big.
Even though it was a base model, the interior was still very nice. Definitely an improvement over the 05-09's. The seats were comfortable, the dash looked so much cleaner and organized, and the cupholders had a cover over them! I didn't like the way the interior console opened. You had to push a button on the top and it lifted up and then swung back. I also didn't like the automatic shifter. God, it was huge. I am a small chick and I felt like it was too big for my hand to grasp. It looked like something that belonged in a Toyota Corolla or something.
Overall, I liked it, but not enough to want one.

There is a grabber blue V6 at the dealership by my house. Love the color. They are selling GTs here for around 33K and the Camaro SS for 43K. I was up in Napa on Friday and I saw 8 2010 Mustangs that day within the span of a couple hours. All V6s though.
By the way, I think the new bullitts are ugly as ****. They look like the V6 model in **** green.

Well I don't like it.

I've decided that I like the design enough to think about getting one. Not this year but maybe next. My 04 will be paid off and I've given up hope on a Cobra of any sort. I wanted to do some modding on my GT, but just isn't practical right now. I can't even wind out my stock GT without worrying bout a dreaded ticket. I'd just like a newer Stang with about the same payments I'm making now. Plus my wife wants a new car too, so we both have to think about the future with 2 car payments and insurance. Oh, yeah my son will be 17 this year with a permit to drive, so insurance is gonna be a new glitch in my decision.. Oh well, I aint making any new decisions for a while..

There's a grabber blue 2010 GT with 500 miles on it for sale on eBay about 100 miles from me. Guy bought it for his older father, but apparently the guy can't drive it for some reason. He's selling it for $27k, which is quite a bit off of the MSRP. Only thing he did to it was add white GT500 stripes. One hell of a deal for someone that's interested in a newer Mustang, but at the same time doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. Just thought I would mention it in case anyone is looking for one.

Yep, It's really not a good time to make a decision on 2 accounts here.
1 being, this is a 1st year model and should last 4 more years before a new design shows up. ( like King said maybe a 5.0 or possibly a 5.4) anyway they could make improvements in the next 4 years with this model.
2 being, we don't know what the future of any car industry holds, or what the economy is gonna do right now. Ford may wind up like GM or Chrysler and I wouldn't buy either of them at this time just because of the uncertainty.
They'll be plenty of left over 2010+ models to choose from in the coming years.
Plus I just cleaned up my 04 GT, and she looks pretty damn good to me. Something about that model, 99/04, just makes you look twice and say wow nice body..
