Man this whole Oprah Chicken thing is fuggin insane.

I just heared about this, people at work are printing these out while they still have time. Im not doing it though cause im on a pretty strict diet.

you would think that in this economy that people would be happy to get a free lunch.

Instead all i see are reports of voilence, civil unrest and protests.

Not to mention all the racist comments plaguing the comment sections on the internet wheever this story is posted.

And to top it off, we have groups like PETA condeming her and her actions saying it is going to cause swine-flu plague breeding grounds.

For every single comment on how nice it was to offer everyone in the world a free KFC dinner there are at least 10 slams on oprah.


this is a pretty fucked up nation full of ungrateful spoiled ***** if you ask me.

I understand some of the KFC's are refusing the coupons, if they are franchises i believe that is thier right.

None the less, this is pretty sad.

I printed out my four coupons and had a nice free meal with the girlfriend. Probably the first time I've eaten at KFC in a couple of years, but a free meal is a free meal. Some people will bitch about anything if given the chance.

yeah i swear that people NEED something to complain about on a daily basis. I don't get it! Maybe i'm just too chill......maybe we should all just toke up a fatty and calm the **** down!!!! I thought it was a great idea personally. Oprah owns half of all anyway....she could at least hook a brotha up with some chicken!! Good job O!!! I'm on Harpo's side when it comes to chicken. LOL

I agree. She could say she's found a new 'miracle cream' that prevents aging, wrinkles, sagging skin, etc. All the 'miracle cream' will be is a pile of **** in a bum's hat, and stupid-*** people would still buy it.

 

Normally i think Oprah is stupid and overrated and that women just mindlessly worship her, but this is actually pretty cool. Reminds me of the free cars she gave to everyone in her audience.

My Mother-in-law is addicted to Oprah. She records it and when I come over she is always watching it. Yesterday I came over and they were talking about kids who commit suicide because of bullying and there she was on the couch bawling her eyes out. Way to pull the heartstrings, O.

I don't watch her unless I'm forced to at the in-laws. I just hear stuff like this from time to time.

Hahaha, what you said reminds me of me and a friend of mine at work. We take turns doing runs to the post office every other week. We always say we 'take our lives into our hands' when we go to that post office because the people around there are morons and they can't drive worth a ****.

I don't know much about oprah other than she is one of the richest women in the world, but doesn't she promote healthy food, dieting and a healthy lifestyle? How the hell does giving out free lunches at KFC promote any of those things? next time she should just give out a bucket of fat! ha ha

KFC tried this approach last weekend at a nascar race, for their new "grilled chicken". And were touting "get a free grilled chicken piece or pieces day". Geez all that does is add to the stress for the workers at any given fast food place, And not mention the long *** drive thru lines. When underpaid food service employees are strecthed to their limit, then you can count me out off anything they offer free or not. Which is why I dont eat at fast food places unless I am absolutely starving with no other alternative, which in the last 5 years has only been maybe 4 times..

I will not trust a random person to handle my food properly when they work at any fast food joint. sorry, nuff said. And KFC is a fast food joint. It aint like the old days when you could trust that your food was prepared and handled properly. These days you can't trust them. Not worth the risk of squirt syndrome, IMHO>>

 

Are you talking about Popeye's being expensive? Shiiiiiiiiittttttt. I'm a C.O.B (Cheap Ol' Bitch). I eat at Popeye's all the time. I get 2 wings, a side, and some sweet tea for like 4.25.

I hate Taco Bell. The 'meat' they use is disgusting.
