Well its been awhile since I got a new gun so I finally got one last week and shot it over the weekend. Here it is. A Glock G20 SF 10mm with the factory glock night sights. 15rds.I was pleasantly suprised with the recoil. Overall I am very pleased with the gun.

***** yeah, get you some! Lol
As soon as I turn 21 I'm buying a glock 21, assuming they're still allowed.
Got any other firearms?
Oh hell yeah it's a blast, I love taking out my friends who've never done it before. But it's starting to get terrible though because everytime you pull the trigger you're shooting between 30 and 50 cents. Ammunition is way too expensive these days.

It's the trademark Glock safety trigger, in order for the trigger to be pulled that lever in the middle must be depressed, keeps it from going off when it shouldn't. Glocks don't have conventional lever safety switches

great gun. 10mm auto can be loaded to .41 magnum power levels and still be safe to shoot in your glock. I have the 20c and a 20 (and a 21 and 21c). FANTASTIC pig gun. Kills hogs dead and has 15 dead hogs in the handle.

Well... I couldn't stop myself. The new SF models really are that badass. The little change in grip length and angle makes them point so much more naturally than the already badass glock design does soooooo.....
I went and picked up the exact same gun. Hey whipple.. how's been finding ammo for it for you lately? Snicker...
Yeah, can't find ******* ammo. period. There's nowhere in the bay area that has some. I'm going to order my 40S&W and .357-Sig conversion barrels today. At least I can find ammo for those.

cool, but i never liked glock... that trigger safety is annoying IMO, and I cant look past the fact that most of the gun is not metal.
but blah blah blah....I know glocks are one of the best...they just dont fit me personally.

most of it is metal. By weight... about 99.1%. By surface area, just a tit over 50%. ALL of the stressed parts are metal. BTW... my ruger 9mm has 300K+ rounds through it and it mic's out to the exact same dimensions now on the PLASTIC FRAME RAILS as it did the day I bought it. Prejudice is cool and all... it just has to be valid.
There are 3 different trigger safety's, you need to find the target model trigger. It's less irritating. I just sand my trigger safety down till it's flush when disengaged then it doesn't bug my finger.
If you want to hate on a gun for being crappy in materials try ANYTHING made by: Bryco, Jennings, Hi-Point, Pheonix, Lorcin, Norinco. I've had catastrophic self-disassembly of 3 of those brands and severe damage from normal use on another.

I shot a few different glocks.. didnt like them...the feel...the safety style... no hammer (dunno why...I just like to have an exposed hammer on my guns)... just my opinion... I guess I have weird sized hands? I dunno...the 92f beretta just feels way better to me in my hand...thats what is important anyway.
I would love to get a G33 though...

10mm ammo has been tough to find lately. Gander sometimes gets a box or 2 of blazer in, which I ****** up since I work about 2 miles from them. I got a K & M 40 S & W conversion barrel for it about 2 months ago and have been using that since 40 seems to be available by the truckload around here.
Don't get me started on ammo. I have a .380 1934 beretta that my grandfather gave to me about 4 months ago, he took it off of an officer in Guam. I havent been able to shoot once yet because of the 380 shortage. I've been looking hardcore and I have an order in Cabelas thats been on backorder for about 3 1/2 months. At least I can still get shotgun shells. :-)
