...I just read all nine pages of this thread, and this is the conclusion I have come to.

Spinz, it did seem like you were bragging, maybe you did it subconsciously. Also, yeah. Taking pictures of yourself in a mirror without a shirt on, AND living in miami..thats not cool at all Some people might seriously question your sexual preferences. IMO Miami is like....the sister state of san fransisco..And I wouldnt be surprised at all if people go out of their way there to celebrate rainbow weekend there.

All in all, however.

You know this is the first thing I do in the morning when I get to work. Take about 30-60 minutes and read all the interesting crap that goes on in here. I find it funny how it usually takes maybe 3 or 4 posts for a thread to get waaaaaaayyyyy off topic. It's entertaining to say the least. I'll just sit back, drink my coffee, and continue reading while getting paid to do it.

The only reason I have my viper is because I cant afford the service/maintainces of something like a gallardo, aston martin.

But american quality will never compare to something of like a lexus or bmw. When I take my viper to service (which is quite often) they loan me a charger or avenger, and those cars feel so cheap. even my viper feels sooo cheap, everything is soo plasticy, and brand new cars have rattles that drive you crazy. Even the leather feels cheap.

My lexus is the most comfortable thing in the world. Sometimes its too comfortable and I have to blast the radio while driving home in the middle of the night to help me from falling asleep on the wheel. You never feel the road, and its completely noiseless.



My lexus isn't fast, but as a daily driver/comfort car the only thing that competes against it is like a bmw or other high end foreign cars. Plus the technology in the lexus is just out of hand. That car has sonar detectors in it, the A/Ced seats, navigation, paddle shifters, keyless everything, keyless start, the lights turn in the direct of the steering wheel, electrical steering, parking senors, backup camera, all the good stuff.

Im not hating on american cars, I have two of them (my viper and my f150). But im still yet to find an american car to impress me to what my lexus has to offer.

 

Well when you don't give your employees health care and/or a decent wage, you can afford to focus on the little things and improve quality.

 

american car makers need to stop worring about employee benefits and start building good quality cars if they want to stay alive.

Even my 2006 z06 which i had bought brand new for $90k was a piece of ****. One day racing on the highway at about 140mph my roof completely RIPPED OFF. As in completely peeled back and my car looked like a t-top. a $90k car shouldn't have problems like that.

My lexus has never seen service not even 1 time. Other then the regular oil change/fluids top off every 5,000 miles.

 

Shouldn't of spent 90K for a 06 Zo6 in the first place. I also don't understand people who bought GT500's and paid double the price. It's just ridiculous. My friend's dad as a 06 Viper and hasn't had any problems with it.

As for your roof ripping off, I highly doubt that is true. If it is true, maybe the person who was assembling the car was too worried about if he was going to get a paycheck next week, to provide for his family.

As for your "90k" z06 purchase, not bashing you or anything but why don't you take some of the money you spend on cars and buy a house. How about being a homeowner and having a viper, and a lexus. Now that would impress me.

As for your Lexus, good purchase. Even though it did nothing for the American economy, good purchase.
