Yeah that ridiculous seeing how badly they did in that event. I was thinking they'd fly through that without a problem. I wonder what is going to happen next week, showed them flying over a hill and ******* up their front end.

It's a pretty cool show. Definately better than watching the wifes "reality" shows. Never really followed last years, but I have watched every episode of the current one.

At first, I wondered why someone would drive a GT500, Ferrari, and a Porsche in a competition where you smash flourescent light bulbs on that nice shiny paint job. I guess you'd have to convince yourself you wont finish in the last two, or **** someone off enough for them to point the finger at you for the challenge.

I of course like the Shelby team, team Lexus chicks are pretty funny- and pretty lucky. The Ferrari guy I didn't think was too bad, but his arrogant "escort" was way too full of herself. As for team Evo, I dont see where it's an "underhanded race", but especially the one dude, he's a first class *******.

 

I don't think the guys are bad, I just think that their attitudes are a product of having the Evo. Anyone remember when Jon had the Evo? Everywhere he could he'd say screw this, my evo this and my evo that. Something about that car possesses people....They're a product of the devil I tell ya!

 

LoL on that note. I've noticed people here who drive Evo's look like those guys do. And an Evo and really "all that".. They'll probably be on the bubble through the whole series cause it makes for good TV..

They are not supposed to be speeding when doing the checkpoint rally parts. So they say they are cheating because they leave normally way after the first car and get there sooner then most people. Only way to do that most times is to speed to make up time. It would make more sense if they made it clearer at the beginning of the show that they are not supposed to speed.

 

yea there was the one episode, i think it was the third or second, where the evo ran out of gas/died and they still made it to the checkpoint first. It was the one where they pulled over the corvette and others because they were looking for the evo. We'll see what happens tomorrow night.

I think they are pretty damn funny. The one guy looks kinda like Val Kilmer or however he name is spelt.

 

I got the DVR set to record the whole series, along with Kitchen Nightmares, love that show too..

 

I would love to be on that show! Ferrari people were crazy, mostly the woman. Did she really marry the Avalanche guy in Vegas?? The Avalanche guys were alright. It hurt me to see the Shelby do the run with breaking the lightbulbs.

I don't get the speed channel, but the wife and I just discovered last night that they have it on demand in HD. So we watched all 3 episodes. We watched the last season they had to. Guys in Evo are definitely douches. I'm still not sure how the Evo guys beat the Ferrari in the last challenge when they both took forever to finish, but the Evo hit everything under the sun. Although I'm not a huge fan of the super snake, it's not too bad and the guys are pretty cool. I like them or the camaro guys. They seem pretty chill and actually know how to work on cars.

its to bad team evo had to go out like that, but the guy in the dart was a real loser for driving like a tool.

I was hoping the evo guys would be around longer than that. ******* sucks that they wrecked it like that. The dart flipping just after was crazy, I didn't see that **** coming at all. It's cool that everyone comes together to help though.

 

yeah it is cool that they come together, but after you see evo crash you need to just drive normal after the challenge is over

 

I kinda hope the Dart guys don't get it fixed and miraculously team Evo can put it back together...I don't like the guys, but the arguments between Evo and V-Dub are worth it because the V-Dub guys are real pansy's.

 

i agree about the vdub guys lol. but that evo is jacked. i feel bad cause that would freakin suck. The were jerks but the evo guys made it very interesting and funny. so i got a question. will their ins. cover the evo? i know my ins. would not cover my car when i went to the strip or can you get special ins? i dont think bullrun or speed covers it. any ideas?

 

OMG. I can't believe it. His friend was driving the EVO and wrecked it into that concrete barrier... and he was like "yeah, no big deal....blah blah blah" and isn't it totalled? I can't believe Dart flipped too. Evo guys are Dousche Canoes but that still really sucks. I didn't mind Avalanche but they can be d-bags too. I like the Dart. But....Team Shelby!

 

I doubt seriously if regular insurance would cover damage done during a race. I would bet money that the team have to sign a waiver in the beginning releasing the sponsers from liability of any damages or injury, especially with the expensive cars that are in the race. I'm sure you can get special insurance but I'll bet it's expensive.

yea getting there in the fastest time is the point but they are not allowed to speed which they always did.
