Never seen it, but I will this Thursday if I can.

 

I love that show. Some people think it's really stupid, but I love that GT500...it's the only reason I really watch.

 

i love it how every one is trying to knock off the evo and cant, i really hate the VW bus those guys are losers.

I guess I wasn't paying that close attention. I thought the white one was a 500, I knew the black one from the commercials is a super snake though if that's what you're referring to.

 

um not when its rolling on more then 550hp, then its a super snake.

I don't think they've released the KR or Super Snake yet....I'm probably wrong though...

 

i think the KR was a 2008 only car becouse it was the 40th anniversary of the 1968 king of the road, i may be wrong tho.

All of the GT500KR's are Super Snakes. The 40th anniversary KR's are no different than the others except for the fact it's a 40th Anniversary. The term "Super Snake" refers to the fact that it's the most bad-***-*****-to-the-wall-throw-you-back-in-your-seat-mustang to come off of the showroom floor.

And the new GT500s are sex....I strongly agree. I'd sell my unborn son for that car.

 

I think the guys in the evo are hilarious, it'd be boring without them.

Wow, that KR discussion makes me sad. It's so simple. The GT500 KR is the silver and blue limited release car. That's it. That's all. Anything else is a Super Snake, and does not get the KR badge. There is a 550whp Super Snake and a 740whp Super Snake package. It's that easy.

 

Wrong once again. The KR is not just the silver and blue limited release car. The silver and blue was just the first production made and was sold for 550k. You can buy a KR in any of the regular GT500 color combos (ie. Red/Black, White/Blue, Orange/Sliver). The KR isn't just one single car, it's an upgraded GT500. The 650 and 720hp GT500's are both KR's. There's a red and black GT500KR at the dealership up the street with side stripes on the skirts that says GT500KR for 102k (rip off I know). But, it is still a Super Snake and a KR.

My dad builds them, pretty sure I'd know. End of story.

 

wow this is funny lol. Anyways. watch the show and love it, but like someone said above i liked the first season better but this one is good. And the shelby is the Super Snake! I never knew the KR/Supersnake thing 2008 mustang GT thanks for the info. I always thought it was 2 dif cars. They gt500 they have is the 720 HP version.

 

I get Speed in HD now so I am loving it. I was all for team Pantera to win.

I got rid of my speed channel after it seemed like they had nothing but nascar and Pinks re-runs. Anyone know a good place to watch it online? I caught episode one on Streetfire.net, hopefully episode two will show up on there.

 

ive been DVRing every episode, i would love to see the supersnake win, but i wouldnt mind if the cute girls in the lexus won either. The camero is sick as hell but the camero won the first season so im against it.

 

i think because its national television no one is aloud to speed on an open coarse for legal reasons through the people who produce the show and the evo guys have been speeding alot i think. Granted its a fast car but if it was no holds bar some of the other cars would destroy the evo

Me too. My dad called me and was freaking out because it actually had a real Pantera in there. He told me he was going to sell the KR and go buy one now.

I understand that, but if they were really speeding don't you think they would've kicked them off anyways. I know Speed is all about staying out of the legal business, I can tell from the forms you have to fill out to be on Pinks (long story). I kinda like them just because everyone else gets so pissed off by them.

The VW will break down in no time. As soon as it goes into a competition to where it has to slide around like the last competition it'll bust. I think that is the stupidest vehicle to be on there considering all of the other cars are world class cars, and then there is a VW surfer wagon.....

 

Yeah it sucked seeing the Pantera eliminated. It was cool how they all came together to help replace the clutch though.

Great show. DVR worthy for sure, because my wife loves it. Gonna be interesting to see who wins it all. Evo boys are on everyones hit list. But they still come through. Lexus girls making it under the radar too. They keep performing on the road. I'd say team Avalanche has a chance after watching the 3rd episode. They work good together.. Much better than last years so far.. Too bad for team pantera, but that was a POS in the 70's so why bring it into this competition, same as that VW Bus. And Daaam that Camaro and the Dart are nice cars too.. Glad they got shed of team Ferrari , that chick was just too annoying to watch...

 

they are cocky ********* that think thier car is the best thing going, pretty funny when they humped the **** out of one of those water filled barrels last week.
