Well i had to take my car to a certine dealer in central florida becuase i ws hit in a parking lot by a girl. So i take it there i get te body work doen i get it back and my nittos which i will say were very bald had metal showing in the middle of one of them when i got it back...note to self i didnt give it to them with metal showing it was close but no metal showed. so i go great i found my 2nd dealer in Florida who likes to hot rod customers car so i just go oh well after i talked to the service manager who told me thats not possible right..

so i go home and i park it, next day pull out ot go to school and my car leaves a puddle of trany fluide WTF? so i call the dealer tell them what happened and take it back they replace my rear tranny seal (after i had gone under my car and looked for myself to find the problem) and tell them the problem it gets fixed and i only ha to pay for the part 30bucks not a bad deal i guess. I get it back take it home. very next day i pull out to go to school and the tranny has left fluide again on the ground WTF?

Call the dealer tell them it has a problem again. i look under the car and the rear of my tranny has stress cracks all over it, note it was perfect before i didnt do this) i tell the dealer this is my third time going there and my car has been hotrodded both times if it happens again i will file suit against them.

I drop it off this time, and go to my parents house who live near the dealer and i wait for her to give me a call back becuase they are going to inspect it before they do anything. I get a call saying the tranny has to be replaced and that i need to come back. Soi go back i am told its got cracks all over it and a peice is missing fromt he bottom of my tranny (i never saw this and dont belive still) she thengives me a free rental car even though i am 20years old and you have ot be 25 to get one. Sounds fishy right? and then tells me not to worry they will put this under warrenty so i dont have to pay the whole bill which comes to around $1300 est.

So i think to myself i get a free rental i am not old enough to have, i am getting my new tranny covered under warrenty even though my car has 6k to many miles and is one year to old for that.

so yesterday i get the car back first thing i notice is my car has an exhaust leak (i guess they dont think finsihing the job up is part of there job?) and my clutch has not been adjusted at all so i have to do it. other then that its great.

So in the end the dealer ****ed my car up,broke something,made me pay for a seal then made me pay 200bucks for a new tranny they broke not me. and they suck dick at finsihing there work. I will go in and add some sealent to my exhuast and make sure its all tight.

but on the plus i got a turaus that i had some fun with. i have it all on video so maybe in a few months i can post it.

basicly i needed to vent how bad this dealer is.

That sucks man, but I guess at least they paid for it and you know where to NOT take your car ever. hope you beat the ever living crap outta that taurus.

 

Sucks to hear that but im sure they did beat on it. you probably got some younger guy that fixed most of it and took it out for a test drive to make sure nothing else is wrong. on the way back im sure he pulled over and just dumped your clutch at 6 grand.

 

That sucks,you have to watch out for that.You should get a Valet tune.I test drove a SVT Focus one time and the young salesman had me pull over so he could drive and show me what it could do I'd hate to be the guy that bought that one because he butt raped the hell out of that thing and laughed about it.Only had like 30 miles on it too and said you should have seen the guy from service that drove it.

 

Wow, I definitely would have filed suite on the whole tranny issue. That is some major bull****.

wow man that sucks. a simliar thing happened to me... like 2 days after i baught my car with 24k miles on it... the hood latch broke and it wouldnt shut. so i took it back to the deal and they gave me a rental focus and i raped that thing... it was awesome... i floored the gas pedal the WHOLE weekend and only ended up paying like 6$ for gas... i love getting rent-a-cars... but its hella hard to get them unless something "mechanical" stops working they say now... -_-

 

Dude, honestly, idk how you can think thats alright. I'd be doing everything I can to catch them and call that Bull****. If I had a high powered car in for service and then found out some dick 4brains mechanic was rippin the **** outa my clutch and Tranny I'd go in there and rip some god damn heads off.

 

My fathers freind is a lawyer he said i have little to no evidence that they did it. Plus that fact that my car has nitrous and drag radials on it, so he said it would be to hard to say they did it and not me. So sadly all i could do was talk to the dealer about it and threaten them and hope things turn out well. I still got screwed but its not anything i can do really, trust me i tried but like i said i cant prove anything its my word against theres.

on the other hand the rental... lets just say it might be an auto but i got it to bark 2nd a few times even though its not sopposed to, and it also might have done some dukes of hazzrd jumps but thats just what i heard? and i had to rotate the tires from the front to the back

And no its wasnt greenway ford they did however hotrod my 99f150 which was more modded then my stang was and then a month later my tranny blew. I crawed under it to see what happened and i noticed i had a new gear selestor lever on the side of my tranny, i mean new no dirt anything on it unlike my stock one which was dirty and muddy. So i dont do business with them either.

 

so basicly dont take a moded car to the dealer they love to f them up. I wish i could find a dealer i could trust. The only one i ever trusted was the one in Boone N.C.

 

Hey just be glad you didnt have that nitrous bottle filled...that could have been real bad.....I bet they even tried to see if you had any. I bet one of the mechanics there would be gladly to squeal on their fellow mechanic for a certain price.......

 

i had the bottle empty and the main line and the tank unhooked plus my swtich to arm the system is hidden and i dont think they would of found unless they tore the inside of my car apart.

 

Let me know when the car is finished and ready for the track and you get your new drags on so we can race.

 

its a deal i ordered new nittos last thursday so just waiting for them to come in. i will be going all motor though, my MSd switch isnt in my car i took it out last night becuase i was having problems with ti and msd is sending me a new one.

Man latley i am having all kinds of gay problems with this car. nothing really the cars fualt just other people and products.
