how much should a front wheel bearing replacment cost I want to make sure that I'm not getting screwed the guy said 400 and that it would be safe to drive home but if I drove to lansing about 70 miles away I would have a good chance of losing a tire but I think he is just trying to scare me into having him do the job. I wasn't there and he talked to my wife. I told her that we would get a second opinion.

Edit oh yeah it's an AWD 4.6 v8 and the car has had a grinding in the front for a bit that I knew was the bearing but I didn't think it was that bad
