Default Mustang Update!

If anybody cares ha. First i was going to get an 08 GT/CS, then i decided I wanted a 2010, then I decided I wanted an 03-04 Termi.

Well I finally came to my senses and decided to keep my GT. Exceptionally clean, low miles, decent amount of money put into it, and best of all, its PAID OFF! And i want to buy a house come september.

So i wasn't about to just have a mid 13 second car.

I went ahead and ordered a ZEX Wet kit, and a bundle kit that includes a purge, bottle pressure gauge, blow down, and bottle warmer.

Spike convinced me, along with many others to go ahead and do the J-Mod. I figure it will go well with my 4.10 gears.

I am now currently looking for 2 wheels to mount drags on, LIGHT as possible. So if anyone knows anything, hook it up.

I will have pictures of the Nitrous kit install, and the J-Mod when the parts come in. Hopefully later this week.

Biotch!

Awesome dude, sounds like a good plan! Never knew why you wanted to sell your modded gt for just a newer stock gt. I'm sure those mods will hold you off for a bit. Can always get a Termi later down the road.

Just wondering where'd you order the zex kit and bundle kit? Will be ordering one soon and just trying to see if there are any cheaper places.

Well sounds like you made a good decision. I'd love to have a cobra too but sometimes you gotta take care of other things first. How much is the wet kit?

The wet kit itself was 529 over at Brenspeed.

Sean, you can get the bundle for 275 over at atlanticspeed.com. Good deal. Free shipping too.

Weld draglites are a possibility but not looking to spend a whole lot. Trying to maybe get some used 99 cobra wheels to mount the drags on.

Congrats! I'm glad you finally came to your senses.

Now, can someone explain to me in layman's terms what the hell a 'J Mod' is?

you drill holes in your seperator plate to allow more fluid in which allows the tranny to grab gears harder....

yup, holes in the seperator plate which allows more fluid to flow to the bands and much faster. No more p*ssy shifts. less heat. winner!

That may seriously be the most on-topic contributory post you've ever had on this forum.

Nope. Especially considering that I've had about 5 useful posts in the 916 I've made.

We should keep Stephen out of Steeda's happiness thread, haha.

Just checked out their site, I'll probably get that bundle kit when I eventually get my kit, plan to before summer. Thanks for the info. You got any idea of where your mounting all your switches? I wanna get something like this one:

Yeah in ours theres 2 cup holders, making the wires visible on the one side, doesn't look too flattering. I am mounting my switches inside the little compartment in the center console. For now at least. I cant think of a better idea.

125 shot (zex)

I thought the same exact thing before I even read your post. Way to step up Stephen, good job.

Congrats on all the new mod Steeda, it probably would have been nice to have a new car, but not having a payment is just as nice.

Yours is a 99/00? Yeah that switch set wouldn't look to good there then. It be fine on mine because the holders are separate. I've seen ppl set them up in the center console. Trying to find the pics I saw. I wish we had an ashtray in our dash. Could just flip that bitch up when you need them and its hidden when closed.

Here, found the pic I was looking for. Could definitely be done cleaner, but you get the idea.
