Default ****** Mechanics....

I've been havin problems with my car for about a week that I can't figure out. The revs jump all over the place and it's real rough, and none of the usual suspects were the problem, so I took it to a mechanic that I actually trust. He does an engine vac and a full tune up and changed all my fluids etc, and so I get my car back $300 later thinking it's fixed. Drove it an hour and it's back to its same old **** with an engine light. He better have a ****** good explanation for why he sucks at his damn job.

If engine light turns on there should be a code.

Vacuum leak somewhere especially if its idling ruff. Most likely torn intake manifold gasket on driver side (bank 1 unless I have that backwards).
