House is going great! Over the holidays I was off for 3 weeks vacation and spent some time doing major upgrades. I had granite counter tops put in the kitchen, new deep bowl sink, new goose neck faucet, garbage disposal, painted the kitchen, installed new stainless steel glass top stove with matching fan hood, huge fridge, new dishwasher..all GE to match. Learned an assload about plumbing lol.

Also finally got my office going while I was at it. Girlfriend got me a desk and hutch for Christmas so I put that together, 2 large bookshelves, re-painted it...from yellow to dark gray.

Here are a few kitchen pics so you can see the difference.

Before pics first.

Now...after

Nice ******* kitchen Bro!

Good to see you again. You should come around more often.

Remember with the remodeling, make damn sure you finish each project before starting a new one. lol.

I have some ***** and handles picked out. Those things are crazy expensive for little pieces of metal! They are coming soon. And all the vertical blinds were in the house when I bought it. The ones I want are $$$ so they will come eventually. I don't mind the blinds so much but I sure do hate them when the cats get in em!!

Thanks for the thumbs up everyone Plumbing is for the birds...I will tell ya that!!!

Yeah man I hear that. I had the counters put in and me and my girlfriend agreed the counters looked awesome but the rest of the kitchen now looked like garbage lol. We were going to re-do the bedroom over the holidays so we decided to go ahead and get the kitchen out of the way. I said well I am gonna go to Home Depot and get some new appliances. Then I said..well if we are doing that we might as well re-paint, and while I am doing the plumbing I might as well get a garbage disposal...it was one thing after another. I did all of that in 4 days but it was hard satisfied work.

And that is why I did one project at a time lol. If I had been working during this time it would have taken 3 weeks I am sure.

Always good to see your smiling face Slappy lol

Nah man, Plumbing's fun, it's the electrical that is a b*tch.

Yeah, definitely need to get rid of those damn vertical blinds though, I took them all out of my house and put up the good Levolor Plantation shades. Trust me, I understand about the hardware, I re-did all of my cabinets in the entire house.. Had to have all new hinges and hardware.. lmao
