LOL. I was coming home tonight on an open stretch of road, and behind me I see this round headlights all over me. i let him by when it tuned 4 lanes and couldn't figure out what it was.

He flew by pretty quick and i heard the turbo bypass noise. I figured it was an old nissan 240z
or something. Anyway the light caught him and we were lined up. I saw it was a porsche 924. LOL not knowing much about these porsche's I let him take off on green, then I proceeded to eat his *** up from start to about peak rpm for my stang in 3rd, then I slowed down. He finally got around me and let me hear that turbo again. Right before my turn into my neighborhood I blew by him again and he just could not keep up.

Well I didn't realize 924 is kind of a slow porsche, but I still chalk up a win from dead stop till I decided he'd had enough.. My Stang was running pretty good cause it was chilly air tonight..

. Yes i know street racing is bad, but there was absolutley no one else on the roads..

Yeah stock GT, Flowmaster catbacks if that added any extra. She runs good when you can keep the rpms up..

 

That's the only reason why I like Street Racing, when it's empty, no one else on the roads, and you don't always know what you're racing.

 

Yeah I don't really street race, I just jump on it from 1st and 2nd and maybe 3rd as long as I am comfortable no cops are around. I was gonna let that porsche go ahead and scream down the road but I just wanted to see what if, I hammered it after he took off and had a good car lengnth on me. LOL, I knew in about 2 seconds that he was gonna get spanked, and I just stayed in it kinda hard and walked away, not sure how it woulda been if I had stayed in it past 3rd gear, but he was already looking at my bumper even after 3rd gear so I hit the brakes and he went around me, LOL. I wasn't really looking for a race, but he flew by me when I was driving home, and burped the turbo when he went by. OK, I'll try it..

 

Oh yeah I know what you mean. I can't wait for our Drag Strip to open up.

LOL mustangrn, I had to put something on there. 04 GT aint got many frilly things, and I aint allowed to do any real mods, yet.. And that shorty antenna isn't just a lopped off long one. It's real. Straight up from MT, long time ago...

 

You can see it fine in one picture unless you have a shitty monitor and/or computer color. I will when I find them otherwise I'm just making a pointless thread.

It looks better in person, but with the Black Rims isn't all that great. I just had them done and I'm not going to paint the car if I'm selling it. Otherwise it was going to be Black on Black, but I don't know what color/shade of black.

 

Monitor isn't shitty at all...it's the lighting the pics. I can see the car obviously, but I meant to see it in better lighting. How the hell can you not find the pictures? Lol. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

 

Well those two pictures you seen and old pictures that I havnen't shown (because they're old) are taken from my cell phone. Well two weeks ago or so I decide to actually use a real camera and my brother brought his along as well. The problem is when he left to go home he took both my memory cards and now I can't find them. Excuses. :/

 

You failed to mention that when he left he also took his mustang with him. You're waiting for him to come back around or to send you pics so you can post them.

OMG. I saw this 924 again on my lunch break. LOL, he saw me turn into my neighborhood after I blew by him. Tonite, he was at the entrance as I was pulling in. I think he's looking for me.. Ahhhh, I'm scared now. I just noticed he has a big *** Porsche banner on his top windshield. So he's probably a race car driver or a rice car driver one or the other.. LOL
