If it was me I would go with the Cobra because I believe it has better performance and they're faster. I love Cobra's, I'm after one my self, hoping around next year. I've always wanted a Mustang and now I can't get my mind off the Cobra's

Some where in my Performance thread there was a guy talking about his Cobra 99-01 and the 03-04 Cobra's, too lazy to look. LoL He has a blue mustang in his signature.

If you like it and want it then I would go with it, I think it's faster and just sexier, better performance as well. But don't mind me I don't know that much, just learning from what they said and clueless about the GT. I have a 1995 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT, so eh.

if you look through this thread there is alot of talk about cobras, and I go through the basics on them. Definitely go for the cobra if you can, it is a good step up from a gt and is a much better motor to build on.

I was hoping he would come in here, hehe I like him. LoL. I would so go with the Cobra or I'll go take it for you. I'd die to have one, because then I can start working on it and actually start racing. Yeah I want to learn a lot too, but not everything because then it will be boring. Since I never went to school or anything, I think I'm going to take AutoMotive for my Dipolma.

You're seriously awesome. I'm going to post a link after I find it. It's about the Cobra I was talking about with a girl and one I found for cheap. I don't like it though, but you might have a better opinion.

Nevermind I can't find it, but I keep looking at this Cobra for some odd reason.

Why because it looks like yours? I can't have a convertiable, it will get wrecked really easy.

By a new motor you mean it went under a rebuild, right?

If it's clean, and everything checks out buy it if the price is right.

Is that the only car you have? What's wrong with it?

Sonic Blue is amazing....or Voodoo Blue. Both are SICKK!!!

IMO I would go with the Cobra, just the fact that you'd have a Cobra instantly makes it ten times better. Or if you had a Mach 1. If the motor has just been rebuilt or bought brand new I'd definitely take it over a normal GT.

If I knew what was wrong with it, it would be fixed. You can read my thread in the 4.6l tech section, that lists my troubles with it pretty thoroughly...

I wish the Stealerships were actually useful.....I've been in the same position that you are King. My SVT Focus had a problem to where it would just randomly die and the dealer wanted $500 to "look" at it.
