Default 03 Cobra

Ok so i'm a little excited and thought i'd share some good news with you all. I was working with my aunt's boss's driver( yeah that rich he has his own driver) he said he was selling his car, so i asked him what kind of car. He said he has a 03 silver cobra 10th annv package with 10,000 miles on it. My jaw dropped immediately, it's only my dream car. I've wanted a silver cobra ever since the advertisements came out for them in 2003. I told him I would buy the car from him in 2 years when i graduate college, he said he would like to sell it to me and will hold onto it. he said he is in no hurry to sell it, he just doesn't like it sitting in his garage not being driven and that he would like to sell it to someone like me where he knows where its going and what kind of hands it will be in. he's the only owner of it and is in mint condition. He gave me a price of $20,000. he said he wanted to sell it for 27,000 but he said he would sell it to me for 20k in two years. im so stoked. he has it dynod at 550 hp. so yeah, just little excited hehe.

good luck man, but 2 years is a long time any thing can happen in that time to keep you from getting that car.

start paying him now... get some equity. Rich guys love to see you show consistent effort and determination to reach a goal. If I were him and you just started bringing me checks for a grand every month I'd know you're serious and might just let you have it early, as long as those payments were regular and big. He doesn't care about the 20 grand. It's a meaningless amount of money to him if he's got a personal driver. He does care to see young folks acting like they have some goal in life that they're willing to work hard for.

rich mans driver owns the car. not the big boss himself. and, i cant afford payments right now. i would if i could believe me, plus my mom isnt exactly excited about cars in general, she barely let me buy a v6 mustang lol. 2 yrs i will be on my own with a job. i think it works out perfectly.
