So last night we had some friends up. Eveything was cool. Crashed out around 3am.

This morning my parents came up to take the stepson out for the day, and what do they see when they pulled up?

My wifes rear windshield bashed out.

Ok, so her ipod was stolen a few weeks back, this time, her car is in the driveway and they bashed the rear window. It looked like a tire iron or maybe a hammer, cause there was a small 2inch hole with a little wing missing off to the left, and the glass was sun in some areas but raised out where the hole was. As if somebody bashed it with a hammer and had to yank the hammer back out.

So. there is about 220 bucks, and monday we will have a used rear windshield installed.

Also, 77.00 for the rental car cause my wife cant drive the saturn. Got a 2008 VW passat 2.0 T.... punchy little car. lol...

And the other $500 i dumped into a Swann surveillance setup with an extra camera by lorex.

The swann setup has a 4 channel 160g DVR with motion sensor ability, 2 day/night cameras with an infared nightvision capability of 25 feet. The Lorex camera is good up to 100 feet in pitch black with the array of IR LEDs

My house is at the end of a cul-de-sac about the length of a football field, my house faces directly down the only entrance and exit. I measured out 100 feet and it is enough to nab the licence plate of any incoming/outgoing car that reaches the end.

ill have one of the swann 25ft IR cameras set to look at the driveway, and i think ill put the last one in the backyard.

The IPOD being stolen first, then vandalism against her car. We think she is being targeted/ She and i both suspect my stopsons father as the number 1 suspect because she resently told him to **** off and never come back cause he keeps doing his same old ****. (multiple felon, meth addict) We have 2 other possible suspects, but neither are very likely.

If it turns out my stepsons father did this, next time he comes down ill have it on CCTV and hand it over to the police, get a restraining order against him, he goes back to jail, then nail his *** to the wall in 8 years of child support that he never paid so he can start giving away most of his paychecks when he gets out. which will come out between 30,000 and 45,000.

And in colorado, even if you are not supposed to pay child support because the court has not ordered it, if he cannot prove he has paid in the past they will go ahead and nail him for the full amount each month for the age of the child. so in this case, nearly 8 years of unpaid child suppport

At least i get to play with some new toys.


Man, i shouldnt have to be doing this crap. ugh.

On a GOOD NOTE! My son walked yesterday! first time he walked, no help was given, he walked from his mom to me, about 6 feet. We got him going about 8 feet on his own between us.

The security camera is a good investment even if this sort of stuff isn't happening to you. Because sooner or later, it might. Sorry about your sucky luck, Jack. That sort of stuff happened to my neighbors two years ago and their security camera nabbed those losers. I hope the same goes for you. (not the bad luck of that stuff happening again but the catching the losers part)

 

Indeed, a security system is a good investment. Not only can it help you catch those bastards lest they strike again, but it will also act as a deterrent.
And congrats on your son walking man, he has come a long way. =D

I would like nothing less than to have a nunch of my friends up next friday between 3am and 6 am with the lights out inside and wait for them to show up so we could kick the **** out of them.

my buddy has 4 belgian malanois, 3 of them are bite trained. it would be fun to wait for them to show up and open the window and "let the hounds loose"

instead i just gotta catch them in the act and call the cops. ugh.

That really sux, **** like that pisses me the **** off. A couple months ago someone hit my brothers truck in front of my house over nite, then a few weeks ago someone hit my dads car also in front of the house. Im pretty sure it was a friend of the neighbor across the street both times(white pait on both cars and then he stops coming around for a while.). If i knew for sure his car would be torched.

 

They are a shepard. A breed that is really gaining popularity among law enforcement and such. They dont get as big as german shepards, but they tend to listen and are usually easier to train and more obedient.

This one is Ally. Ive known her since she was a pup. Ben her owner used to be my roomate and he got her when she moved in.

That really sucks, sorry to hear it. The cameras are worth it though. One thing we did when my car was getting broken into was to get spot lights. We have 500W outdoor lights on photosensors (they come on when it's dark) on the driveway and everything is lit up like christmas. Shitholes are less likely to walk up on a car an break in when they can be clearly seen.

 

Just put a big *** plasma TV in your front yard. Someone will try to steal it and then you can blame it all on them!
