I really enjoy working out, but I do it more for staying in shape then bodybuilding. I do like to be strong though, well stronger would be better lol.

I have the weakest bench of a 6' 1/2" 223lb guy there is. I have been stuck at 235lb bench weight for like 5 months. I hate flat bench and would rather use free weights for chest any day. I can rock 95's on flat with dumb bells then my bench is straight trash. It really pisses me off its my weakest point.

That and I moved a disk in my lower back had to have it pushed back with the help from a chiropractor. But my lower back is still iffy and sadly I only do squats on smith machines now to keep it safe.

Anyone else have weak points they hate?

My left shoulder, definatly my worst spot, i have to be real careful lifting weights. I used to be able to bench around 200, but when my shoulder is acting up im lucky to get 3 reps of 100lbs before it just loses its strength.

I recently got a gym membership, they have a daycare so it is a good way to drop the squirts off and make somone else deal with them whlie i blow off steam. Plus i could stand to lose about 20lbs

i did my chest for the first time in almost forever on tuesday, and it is still killing me.

I heard that, I did something to my shoulder around 1 1/2 years ago and it hurt for 2 weeks. I took 1 week off then did everything but shoulders for 1 week then slowly added some light work on the shoulders back in till it got better. That and I started taking joint supplements to help with that. I still do not know wtf happened but it was crappy for around 4 months or so.

I've got a bench in my room, but I don't lift as much as I should for a 6'5'' dude at 250lbs...I usually just press 50 reps of 175lbs. Lately been doing 25 reps because the cold weather aggravates some old Football injuries.

I lift 12 ounce weights mainly on weekends, but my 16 yr old son has a nice bench now. I'll do a few reps with 100 lbs before my old *** shoulder says " ok enough" LOL, I can still whoop my son and any of his buddies in arm wrestling. It pisses them off too. But after a few rounds of that I'm usually the 1st one to give up. Can't afford to pull a muscle cause I don't heal like I used to..

i didnt mean like hardcore bodybuilding like those creepers. Im just at the gym almost everyday so i just say i am into bodybuilding. Im about 5'9 195 lbs and with a body fat percentage of around 10%. Pretty good for a 20 year old eh.

Totally agree with you spike i HATE flat bench press with the bar. I use the dumbbells for flat and inclines and i def prefer it and havent used the bench press for months. Used to hurt my shoulders, thats why i stopped using it. The most i ever did on it was 4 reps of 315 on bench press and 10 reps of the 120 lb dumbbells for flat press.

Def say the most fucked up part of my body is my lower half. Blew out my knee in high school playing baseball. Has taken me almost nearly 4 years to power through the pain and get my legs back in proportion to my upper body. Other than the Knees i cant really point out one specific part that hurts the most. Everyday something new hurts and gives me trouble, but i have learned what to ignore and what not to with my experience with weight lifting

i really enjoy the flat bench press. those guys on the site that i posted arent meat heads. only the regular poster are. lol. the majority of the people on there are just normal people like you and me trying to get in better shape

i need to get back into the route of my work out. i used to do compound movement exercises...they worked multiple muscles at a time and did a great job of toning my definition....i notice a lot of difference in my thighs and calf's more than i did my upper body cause i got more fat up there lol

here is sample of a weeks work out...i usually supplement different exercises each week and move the days around to keep my body guessing about which section im working. one week could be upper, lower, misc...the next could be lower, upper, misc...the next could be misc upper lower..etc.

Thats called over doing it. You gotta give the body time to rest and heal. I used to do that till I stopped getting any gains after a year then I learned to take some days off for rest. I do 5 days of working out and 2 off for rest.

dayum i havent lifted in like 2 years...i'm scrawny though and i used to over do it when i was in the gym plus the negative impact of all the drinking i did. when i got to korea i started lifting 60lb dunbells and about 5 months later i was hittin 90-100's depending on hard i pushed it. my bench sucked though i could barely lift up 225 guess my stabilizers werent ready for those but my decline and inclines were pretty decent for my size and weight. i do cross fit air force style 3 days a week and its a good core strength and cardio work out. i need to get my lil *** back in the gym to start tearing up the weights again i miss the veiny look, LOL.

I'm 22. 5' 11" 175lbs. I'm done with the whole trying to gain mass thing. You know that'll all come so I'm just staying fit and cut up and hopefully the size will come with time. Some guys spend their lives trying to get big and then they spend the whole rest of their life trying to lose it all. I have two rattlesnakes that i use to relieve stress and aggression though, works for me,; I know that's off topic, thought you might think it was interesting.

19 next month 6'5'' at 250lbs...stupid football injuries are holding me back from getting into the shape I should be in. I'm not morbidly obese (thankfully), but I don't have the muscle I should for my size.
