Back on track.
The keyhole in the spoiler? Really? That better be a joke. Although it would be easier to get it filled in or deleted altogether there... who really needs a keyhole in the trunk?
Also those tails look chopped in, like they don't fit right into the holes?

I'm not so sure about that. That is one hell of a crappy spot to mount a camera. The only way it would point is down towards the ground.

What keywhole/camera are u guys talking about?? Are you sure that by pointing down its not being amed at ur bumper. I could hav used a backup camera last night. I ran into a garbage can and then proceeded to beat as if it were going to respond to the asswhooping.

There aren't any without the spy masking. I'll get the GT and V6 spy shots for you though, give me a second.

Man, you kick *** King. ****... I liked the concepts for 2005 much better. The back of the silver concept in my original post is my favorite. I don't think its a matter of me not liking the 2010 Musatang, I think its more of a disapointment (for me) because its not what i thought it was going to be. I don't like how they slanted the taillights, I like the concepts Taillights. The front end is something I could get used to (we're looking at an entirely different world of aftermarket parts though). The sideskirts on the GT are gone... bummer. I really like the all glass roof though... nice! It has definitely changed, people will buy it, but they could have done so much better.

Guys I think that hole in the spoiler is the back up camera not a key hole....... Which would make much more sense than it being a key hole.

Neither would make sense. Like I said earlier, if that is a camera, it is in an incredibly stupid spot. It would be pointed at the bumper or down towards the ground. Unless the camera can be adjusted, which I highly doubt. It would have been a better idea to mount it on a vertical surface, like the actual rear trunk panel.

None of us really know yet...

The G35/37 has the rear view camera on the spoiler......

I think it's just a stupid hole in the stupid spoiler to make stupid people speculate..

Just kiddinnngg.......

Both of those options seem stupid, why put a camera on a spoiler? Why put a keyhole in a spoiler? They're both dumb. The spoiler is one of the most often changed aftermarket parts on the car, plus if it were a keyhole what do they do with the basic sixxers with no spoiler? Just no keyhole? lol

True. Like I said, none of us really know yet. Still a stupid place to put a camera. I don't know if I can envision a Mustang with a camera. I guess the way I see it is like this... look at all the plastic trim around the front, side, and rear of the spied photographs. They cut corners by taking away the metal yet they put in a rear view camera?

Also, I'd like to add this...

Where the hell is the screen for the supposed camera?

If there is a camera, maybe the rear view camera is an additional option one can choose for the car. Kind of like the interior upgrade or the glass roof.

Many cars that have back up cameras have it in the rear view mirror... that way you don't rely solely on the camera and run over some kids standing just out of view. Either way, a stupid place to put it, although it would better be there looking down than on a vertical surface looking out. After ll it is for parking, where you want to see your bumper and the curb.

True. Still, I don't know why they'd bother to put one on the car. Automakers aren't exactly in the best of times right now. Cameras to me are more or less a luxury and lord knows Mustangs aren't made by Mercedes. If that is a camera, how do you unlock the trunk? Does the emblem double as a keyhole cover or something?

Is there a keyhole on the 05+? I don't think there is is there?

Edit, nevermind I forgot it was in the top of the emblem.

See now I'd be fine with that. So it's there if the button goes out inside the car, and you can't see it because of the emblem.

@ WN, yep, it is above the emblem.

I think it would be cool if the keyhole was underneath the emblem and you could just move the emblem cover over to get to the keyhole.

I think it would be even cooler if that camera/keyhole thing was really a squirter. If someone tailgates you, you could push a button and squirt some kind of horrible solvent onto their hood, hahaha.

The picutures they are showing us are more than likely the top of the line GT model. +1 for the camera being in the rearview mirror. I know for a fact that the Expeditions have them in the rear view mirror.

That interior shot is shown without the optional navigation, which would have the rear view camera.

Heres the deal with all this. If the 2010 does not have a 5.0, or something in the 400hp range I will NOT be buying one. I will however be buying a Black/Black 09' GT/CS at Carman Ford in Delaware.

My mustang future will be decided when the 2010 is revealed.

BUY MY MUSTANG SOMEONE!
