my little bro made a custom computer just for games the thing cost like 2k.

the thing can run any game on high detail, if only he let me use it.

 

im running Pentium Dual Core Extreme @ 3.0ghz, I have two X1900XT's running crossfire, 3 gigz ddr2 ram, 2x75G RAID Raptors antec P180 Case.

Glad to hear some people still gaming on the PC, Just seems like everyone is going console lately. In the retail stores the PC gaming section gets smaller and smaller.

I still need to upgrade my invidia 7300 video card.

Other than that I'm using P4 3.4 GHz and 2 GB ram.

Does ok for most games but I need more..

 

My gaming PC has been crap lately. I've got close to $45,000 worth of software and whatnot on there. It's packed. So I've been using the PS3 a lot. Love MGS4, except for the massive amount of cut scenes.

 

i'll probably get it for xbox, since my pc is so out-dated. the last upgrade was a Gforce 6800 so i could play BF2. that was in '05. i'm still running a 2.8Ghz, and 2 gigs of RAM. it's time to buy or build a new pc altogether.

 

We just bought a new computer for my son. Geez almost everything now comes loaded with Vista, and we didn't even get a disc for the OS. I would prefer windows XP because they aint keeping up with software for Vista. It's hard to find apps, that are 64 bit instead of 32 bit. I'm just pissed because we didn't get a disc for loading Vista. I'm sure we could load XP so he could get some things he wants that aren't available with Vista at this time..

Other than that he loves his new Puter..

 

All this talk about video cards, I don't even know what kind I have. I'm sure it needs to be upgraded. AMD Athlon 64, 512mb DDR, thats all I know.

You know you think with a list like that they would get a hella alot more creative with what they've got on there.

In past couple of decades EA games has come out, they'd should be able to have more muscle cars just as equal as to imports and exotics. And I'm not talking about a your 67' Shelby GT 500, 70's Chevelle, or any other classic muscle car that has been over and over again, epsecially ones that were seen in Midnight Club 3.

 

all they need is one Trans Am, one Chevelle, an Old Charger, the new challenger, the old KR, the new KR... stingray and new ZR1

a ton of cars on a crappy game like nfs is dumb, its not like they drive like the real cars...

get a ps3 and get GT5 when it comes out, 700+ cars... kthx, need for speed is just an arcade @ ur home.

 

NFS carbon had a bunch of old and new classics that i liked. every time i played i was always in the muscle cars.

 

I like Carbon, I just started another new career mode, and beat Darious in about 6 to 8 hours total run time. It's pretty easy to beat once you learn the shortcuts and which car to use. I beat him this time with the ford GT. I've also beat the game with the vette, porsche, mercedes, and the lambo. The 5 top end cars. This game is too easy to beat,

Not like Most wanted, which might take a few weeks worth of aggrevating cop chases. Geez on the last levels it gets dam hard to get away from those cops. And the last chase in MW is nerve racking at times.

Hope this new NFS is as much fun. When a game can rattle your nerves, it ends up being fun, cause you can't wait to get home and try it again..

 

games like GT5 will take longer than a few days or weeks to beat... even forza 2 was easy to beat...

For the past couple of years, EA has failed to deliver. Most Wanted and Underground 2 besides the lackness of cars, those two were the best. Hot Pursuit 2 was the stuff of racing legends right along side of Gran Turismo.

but need for speed wants all that shity little jap cars in there so every one can be in the fast and the furious, and have the big wings and dragon and NOS stickers.

 

oh yea no doubt. Midnight Club: L.A. is coming out this month rite along with NFS: Undercover. And I promise you this, that Rockstar has more tricks up it's sleeves to wipe out EA games.

Midnight Club: L.A. has the new Saleen Mustang and a 69/70's Mach 1.

 

i'm also tired of seeing the 67' shelby gt 500 in almost every racing game.

 

i like the 67 GT500s, i only know of to games its in test drive unlimited, and froza 2.

both of thouse games i believe there 68's.

 

oh yea don't get me wrong, the classic shelby's are nice, just i would like to see them mix it up once awhile.
