Default Bikes!

Anyone know anything about bikes??

I'm looking for a new bike, kind of a hybrid bike, for biking around town and the occasional minor path. Went to the bike store with my friend yesterday so he could bring his in for a tune up, so I started looking around. Guy showed me a Gary Fisher tiburon which looked pretty nice. I didn't have time to take it out for a test ride but I liked what the salesman fed to me. lol. $430
http://www.fisherbikes.com/bike/model/tiburon

I'm trying to stay under $450, so that bike is probably the best one I'd find for under that. The store's selection was limited so that was the only bike I would be able to get, there's one other store around here with a bigger selection so I'll check that out next. I am by no means a bike enthusiast at the moment. The last bike I had was one of those walmart full-suspension mountain bikes and the best thing about it was the Shimano shifter, but even that was mediocre (last 7 gears don't work anymore, chain slips.). It's a pretty terrible bike and I'm through with the cheap crap and want something decent.

He's not selling it to get a bike, he's selling it to get a Mach or a Termi.

Not a termi, an 01. I'd be in debt for years if I got a termi..lol.

But I'm pulling the money out of my savings to buy this bike, which is subtracting from my new car fund, but it's worth it IMO. The problem is I have NO WHERE to put it. If anyone remembers that pic of it I posted when I got my HIDs...

there is barely any room to get through the thing. Between a tile saw, a corvette that's never used and a bunch of wood, it's packed. The solution is a shed that my dad bought in 2007 to build in our backyard to keep all of that **** + lawn stuff in. Well that never got built, so I basically told him that we are building the ******* thing this week because I'm tired of him having the shittiest garage in the world. My dad likes to extend projects to a course of several years, so if I don't do this it will never be built before I move out..Anyway, I have to lay a wood foundation for it before we can put it together, so tomorrow I'm going to do the measurements for the frame and foundation supports and mark the places to cut, then we'll cut everything, lay it all out tuesday, and hopefully have the shed done by Friday. Which will be when I buy my bike.

Damn rednecks. lol

Dude! I thought my garage was cluttered. Too bad there isn't a Vette hiding beneath anything in my garage, though.

Haha, trust me, the Corvette's appearance doesn't make the garage look any better, hell it just makes it look more redneck.

My neighbors got a pickup truck with a confederate flag sticker on the window, along with a NRA sticker on the bumper. Hell, a vette would make me look like City folk!

I do a little downhill mountain biking. I'm not nearly as good or as ballsy as some of my freinds...but it's some of the most adrenaline pumping fun you can have.

buy a yeti.

There are no mountains in Florida. Mountain bikes are completely unnecessary. lol. Sweet looking bike though.

I had a friend going downhill on a dirt road somewhere in the mountains, got to about 50mph, slipped and hit his eye on a rock. Guess how that one turned out? I'm too lazy to mountain bike, anyway.
