a few weeks ago i went to the track and i had one of the coolest/scariest moments of my life.

so i go to the pre staging lines and i take a look around and not too many cars are there. i get back in my car and notice something in my rear mirror move. i look up and its this 4 wheeler. i didnt pay any attention to it though. i get out of my car cause it was still pretty hot in the car. I look to my right towards the passenger door and notice the 4 wheeler next to me. Confused, i look behind my car and i see this RACE CAR behind me. it was a complete caged car with a lift off BODY. In my head i thought there would be no way that they would let him run me and my mustang.

fast forward 15 minutes. i finally get to the tree and i do my burn out and all that good stuff. then i waited. it was taking longer than it usually did after i was staged. i rolled down the window and asked the guy wats up. he said that they were waiting for the guy that was behind me. I know for a fact that my face turned pale white.

so he lines up and...well...i will just let the times talk.....

i know my time sucked, but it was the first time i had been to the track in 2 years.

still....it was real interesting...i mean come on!!!! HE WAS FREAKING DONE HIS 1/4 MILE BEFORE I WAS EVEN DONE MY 1/8 MILE!!!!!!!!

One of the bracket cars sneaked in a pass once and ran something close to that. It was sick watching him. I didn't even care about my time lol.

 

That sounds like my red light race against a mini-van.






I'm kidding. It was probably a nightmare.

Ya know when I get that blower I'm going to have to drive up there and race you. lol
