Any Saltwater/Reef people here?
Been looking for the last several months and had a hard time deciding on what to buy until I got wind of this company from Italy called Elos. They are top notch and amazing quality with amazing components. Anyway I got me their Elos System Mini. I am the 2nd one in the US to have this setup as they just started shipping them and I was able to get one of the first ones from Einstein Aquatics here in Atlanta. Pictures are below of the system I bought; its a 20 gallon on a custom made stand from Elos with LED lighting!!

Thats a pretty nice tank man!
I used to have several aquariums going when i was stationed up in japan. i had 1 saltwater tank and it was pretty nice but those definatly look nicer.
a lot of the aquariums you find in america are junk.
i had a 75gal that was about 16inx16inx4ft that had the filtration built up top, it constantly sampled the ph balance of the water and ammonia levels, it would make the needed corrections to keep it all at balance automatically by dispencing out a cartridge in the top. It read out everything you needed, a hell of a tank and a bargain at $250. I had an 18inch long arrowana in it. ... tanks in america just seem cheap.
nice find!

Thanks Jack, its a 20gallon nano tank; you should hear how quiet this thing is. You can hear a pin drop!! These things aren't cheap, I paid $1800 including tax, that doesnt include, rock, sand, fish, heater, moon lights, water, etc. I will have well over $2800 when its all going and stocked the way I want it.

I used to have a 100 gal freshwater tank with lots of nice fish and stuff. It became cumbersome to maintain a big tank like that. I've always heard that a saltwater tank is 3 times harder to maintain than freshwater. But they are nice to watch. plus you can get some pretty elaborate fish with a saltwater tank. Not sure if I would be able to keep them living though.. Aquarium fish, fresh or saltwater, will make there own rules, so be prepared to see your favorite fish be the brunt of the other fishes scorn with no mercy to their well being.

That is one reason we got rid of it, it started to be impossible to keep balanced.

If you have a tank, watch how the fish will rearrange the gravel at the bottom to there liking. Almost like there redoing the living room. LOL

Well I got my rock from Chris yesterday; 15.5 lbs and 20lbs of live sand. Here is the scape at this time. Pictures don't do it justice, it is just an amazing setup!! I need to work with my camera to get better pictures. Oh I will be moving the cords from behind the back as well .
