Default ugh..

well the stangs been shittin out on me some lately and considering whether or not to sell.. i love driving and looking at it but its costing a lot of money and not worth that much.. its at 148,xxx right now and a lot of parts are starting to go but my dad and i dropped like 3g's into it last year for a new engine so that would kinda be a waste if we sold it. I need tires badly and a couple weeks ago the check engine light came on and our mechanic said i would be needing a new computer soon (?) for another $900, and im sure a new set of shocks/struts is gonna be needed soon.. i feel like more is gonna be going wrong but i dno if its worth it to to sell bc of how little its actually worth, plus i love having a stang.. my parents dont want me to get another one bc of the winters up at school and i would most likely get my dads infinity i30t but i really dont know what to do..

also, the car runs like **** with the heat/ac on at all, like rpms stay real high (almost 2000 rpm sometimes) and its killing my gas. anyone have a solution for this and advice?

that about the stuff that goes around 150k miles. if i were you i would get the new shocks and struts and then just by some lowering springs to. and replace any thing else thats going once its all replaced it should run great.

i think it would be cheaper to do that then get a new car.

just sell it and move on to another one. Sounds like it is going to just start nickel and dimming you. I guess if you really want to keep this one then start replacing stuff, but otherwise dump it before it all goes and you can't sell it.

are you living in the dorms or are you going to be living off campus? Either way, you wont need a car really at University Park. i know people who are "transfering" from berks and most arent even going to be taking their cars. half of them are selling theirs for beer money. lol.

i would drive it until it wont go no more. thats what i am doing with the sable. its lost powersteering while turning left, throttle is very sticky, yet it just keeps chuggin. just drive it for how little you will be at school.

im telling you. its not worth taking it up there, especially if you in a frat. is your frat on frat row? cause if it is, your car is going to be around all of this and our gen mustangs seem to be the easiest to break into. i would just drop the insurance and keep it at home while your at school, thats what i plan on doing next semseter. but then again, i will have another toy to have fun with as well.
