i know there are civs and junk out there hittin 8 and such but thats boring... that much hp fwd.... what the hell?
but i think a 800 hp escort would be just downright crazy!!!

No one cares bout your stinkin' cosworth lol. I don't know about about them or had any experience of one but they seem pretty good. that YB block seems sorta like a Ford version of a toyota J2Z-GTE engine, similar in how it's really strong.

 

i cant find anywhere if it was cast iron or aluminum....
im supposing cast just because of the strength....
either way, that is a good comparison; you can throw anything @ a 2jzgte and it will run.
just dont spin a bearing.....or get crankwalk :-D

i wonder y they stopped using these engines. i laugh at focuses (focusi?) but if they had a lil 2.0 making 250 hp, i would stop. the svt focus is a joke (as is the contour; WTF?) but one of these would definately up the respect a bit. kinda like srt-4 neons... i hate them... mostly bc you cant deny the fact that they are quick cars...fugly, but quick nevertheless...
