Talking first car

So, I know most of us here didn’t start off with our current mustang; I know my first car was.... well....not so nice or fast
in order of ownership, what other cars have you had?
Also, if you'd like, throw in some details of the car. :-)

82 Volvo 244 dl 99-01 4mt 4dr FR sedan 2.1
didn’t know crap about cars, it just worked.
Dad bought it from me as a 2nd car for the family to use
94 Honda Del Sol 01-05 5mt 2dr FF targa 1.5/2.0
originally had the 1.5 engine. Installed CRV 2.0 engine and t3/4 hybrid turbo. wee...
until engine met 50 shot N20
92 Honda accord 2005-07 4AT 4dr FF sedan 2.2
great car actually, that F22 is a great engine once you throw on some bolt-ons
g/f mom ingested water through CAI
82 Honda prelude 2006-06 5MT 2dr FF coupe 1.8
THIS WAS FUN!!! 1.8 carb, manual.. Fun car, used it as a "beater" though I dumped almost as much $ as the accord
sold when moving to san Diego
82 Chevy cavalier 2007-07 5MT 2dr FF coupe 2.0
400$ on craigslist... plexi glass pass. window, no ac... Strong engine...
temporary car but not too bad really
99 mustang 2007- 4AT 2dr FR vert 3.8
found for 5500 and really didn’t want a mustang.... but it’s a vert :-D

so, yea, that is my journey to the stang
i cant wait to hear your stories!!!

1st - 71 Dodge Challenger, 383, auto, bought when i was 15, fixed it up so i could drive by time i was 17. hit by a mack truck, sat in my garage till a few months ago, and now its in the body shop.(this was my favorite car)
2nd - 00 Chevy Malibu, bought to go back and forth to school in jersey. i liked it cuz i didnt give a **** about it and i could run into **** and not care. drove it till it died.
3rd - 87 Chevy Monte Carlo LS, 5.slow, POS, another beater but i honestly loved the car. it made me feel like a badass. drove it till it died also
4th - My current 99 Stang GT, 5spd, was tired of driving POS's, so i found one with low miles and in exellent shape. love it
These were all daily drivers. I also had 2 66 mustangs(1 vert and 1 coupe for parts) and an 83 camaro v6, but i never drove these. i just fixed em up a bit sold em and made some $$$ for the challenger.

1st - 1991 Red Ford Escort Pony, car was a pile of crap but it was handed down from my brother. It was an automatic, but I still had to start in low and shift up otherwise it wouldn't move. I had a sound system in it.

2nd - 1998 Green Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, was a fun little car while I was at school. Got great gas mileage. I think highway driving I was averaging 33mpg.

3rd - 2000 Black Ford Mustang GT, car I currently own and will probably keep for awhile. Will get a DD at some point and start building an engine for the GT

1986 Buick LeSabre Custom, silver, with red velour interior...yeah!!!

1994 4.6L Tbird LX, white, with factory body kit flowmaster catback with no cats and most of the available Kenny Brown suspension parts, all known bolt ons at the time, Bilstein shocks/struts. nice cruiser but the transmission was a turd.

I had a 1991 240SX coupe 5spd for 3 days....head gasket was leakin and the dealership I got it from refunded me.

2003 Ford Ranger fleet spec 2.3L (zero options...not even a/c), silver. I put a Gibson cat-back exhaust, Hurst shifter (yeah they make one just for this truck) on it, and had the wheels painted black, but kept the "chrome" center caps.

got the mustang and a white '00 civic now.

My first car was my BABY
1995 Mustang V6 Coupe
Deep Forest Green
MAC dual catback

Pretty sexy for a SN95 sixer me thinks =D
(pictures were before lowering it to the ground)
People always thought she was a 5.0 because of the macs...
Sold her for 2k to a family friend, and my parents gave me 4k because they knew 2k was a steal-of-a-deal for the condition she was in.
The current owner put the stock rims back on and still can't afford tires for those bullitts 2 years later...
Bought it in early.. 04 I want to say. Sold her in early 06... but I still get to see it cruising around town.

First car: 2004 Mustang GT, white, auto. Bought the car in 05 with 14k miles completely stock. Soon started dumping money in the car in all areas. cosmetic, audio, performance, suspension. I have so much money in this car and will probally keep it forever. This summer I am putting in a tko 500 or 600 and hopefully some Corbeaus.
