Im new to this whole car buying thing. I just bought my first car and am now the proud owner of a $260 car payment...oh and a 2002 Mustang with 17,748 miles.

 

I bought a 2005 GT.

It was a bit mean, wasn't it? Oh well, I think they need to put a different/more powerful engine in the '05s. With all of the changes to the body and the more aggressive look they should have made it.....more aggressive.
I was also given the hardback dealers display book for the new GT. :blob10: I was going to get the posters too, but my salesman couldn’t find them.

how much did you pay for a 02 mustang? is it a GT atleast? 260 bucks a month is a bit steep i would think for a car with 17k on it...i got a brand new 04 gt for like 320 a month. i hope you got a gt for that money, but congrats i wish i woulda bought a mustang for my first car, i went through a monte carlo, eclipse, s10, chevy z71 (still have) until i bought my stang, and im only 18! have fun with it, post some pics once you have some mods

 

Hey glad to see im not the only new person here with a v-6 sting....i have to agree if that is a v-6 and your paying 260 a month that is a good bit...i just got my sting on monday and its a 2001 V-6 3.8L and i only pay 199 for mine

 

Depends on how much you put down and your cedit history whatnot i got mine in oct 02 it was still classified as new when it had some miles on it under the warrenty its 309. a month and a v6

i pay $433 a month on my 02 with little more than 2 yearz left on payments. I only had $2000 to put down on it when I bought it new

 

dang dude, i put a grand down on my 04 GT and i pay 325 a month! wow, but then again i got x-plan and 2500 cash back n stuff, and i financed 5 or 6 years..... i couldnt handle a 433 a month i dont thinK!! well atleast its good money spent u know, definitely worth it!

 

I pay $460 for my 02 vert with 2k down, got two more years left!! :icon_sile
