does that mean hes gay?... one of the guys had a kid and he was showing the pictures...we were all sayin the kid was cute and then one voice in the group said, "hes adorable"...hmm..what guy says adorable?

I don't think it means he's gay, just by saying adorable, he may really be gay. But, I think it's not very stereotypic gender role word choice, or something like that. I don't say adorable, I don't even say cute much. Nothing wrong with saying it, just odd.

i'm tired...theyre bored ...and its the debate of the moment...it is interesting though...i gotta admit i've never said the word myself...i've never thought of it..but its true...i'm trying to think of other words men dont use...

give me an example...use it in a sentence cause

1. that car is adorable
2. that outfit is adorable
3. that baby is adorable

all sound a litle fruity when said outloud

 

I normally only use it when refering to kids from 1week-5y/o

but using it to describe a car, shirt or any other material thing is just wierd.

I say adorable. The key is not saying it with a raised, drawn out, voice. Like "Ohhhh she's adooorabllllleeeeee."

 

When I see babies I say "Lemme hold it, I've only dropped a few." (That way they don't ask me if I want to hold the baby, I'm not too good with babies.)

Cute is totally acceptable such as in a sentence like this

You pull up to a light next to a guy in a ricer with his window down you say "cute car does your sister know you have it" My buddy does it all the time when we go to the beach in his jeep it always makes me laugh
