I have the UPR brushed aluminum interior dress up kit and to be honest, some of the parts don't fit that good. If I could do it all over again I'd spend the extra $100 and get the roush kit. Sometimes you can find the roush kit on ebay for a little bit cheaper.

I have a friend who used vinyl paint to paint his dash and some other pieces, and they looked good to me. He also used an aluminum color paint to paint some trim pieces - they looked better than the body color pieces!
Just an idea. My car is a triple black 02 convt., so I hesitate to interfere with the whole all-black theme - though i will be adding some billet pieces as time goes on. I found by searching EBay that certain individual billet items are available from small suppliers at about 1/2 the price of the UPR guys (I bought a billet shifter surround for $25 - it usually goes for over $50 from UPR). Caveat imptor (buyer beware), of course. Didn't see any of these small suppliers that offered entire interior kits, though...
