Just got back from the DMV, and my license is reinstated. Lost it from my 2nd M.I.P. offense. Damn it feels good to be a free man.

 

So where abouts in GR do you live

 

I lived downtown near the corner of Fuller and Fulton. Right near Easttown...by Yesterdogs if you've heard of that. Due to lack of funding for school, I had to move back home to save money. I'm still trying to finish up at CC and transfer to business school at Grand Valley. But who knows when that will be.

***...i understand a 1st MIP offense...but 2...didnt learn anything the first time. they shoulda kept the lisence longer.

although my brother had 1 MIP and just got a DUI last year like a month b4 he turned 21. but that wouldnt have mattered he was no where near .08 or whatever...more like .125

 

Drinking underage never turns out good, atleast for the most part.

 

2 mip's...****..I met a kid that got 3 three in one day!!! I thought he was gonna commit suicide. It was when I went to Central Michigan during Central/ Western weekend, big football rivalry. So I'm walking through this big parking lot on campus at about 1:30 a.m. with some friends. We were on our way to another party, when we see these younger guys yelling and making all kinds of noise. Most of them are telling this one guy to chill out and say its gonna be ok and **** like that. So we ask whats up with him, so he tells us how he got 3 mips in one day. He got one tailgating at the stadium at around 9 am. He got one at a house party at about 11pm....then we had just missed his last one in that very parking lot about 45 minutes earlier. The shittiest thing of all is the last one he didn't even have a beer or anything on him, but the cops in MT P treat your body as a container, if its on your breathe, its in your gut....therefore...MIP for you. I felt so bad for the kid...I'm sure he dropped out that semester.

 

Kept the license longer? It's stupid they took my license in the first place. Wtf does drinking on a college campus have to do with my ability to drive safely? I have no arguments against taking my license if I was drinking and I drove, but I don't. I never blew over the legal limit either.
