Yay, you guys can sit with all your guy friends in a simulated world.

 

I have to be honest and say that's pretty bad ***, however the concern I have is that all this technology is making it so people don't actually interact with other people.....and this type of gaming is going to make people even fatter cause they are going to sit on their *** all day!

 

Okay.....there's no good games for PS3 so they had to come up with a modern version of WoW as their online communication/dashboard service.. lol

 

this looks to me like an mmorpg( many man online role playing girls).

 

totally pointless and dumb if I wanted to do this I would buy 1 of the 50 Sims games thats been out for years..

I also agree with jjtgiants that its a neat idea and all, but still kinda pointless and yes, it's going to teach kids to stay inside and talk to there CGI buddies instead of doing something outdoors. Plus it's gonna be all dudes. You guys can stand around in a circle together and sim dance to some music.

 

I agree with you.....i have a friend who in my opinion will always be geeky but he's cool...he doesn't answer the phone anymore, he doesn't go anywhere and when we go to his crib...he doesn't get off of the computer becuase he's playing that world of warcraft game. I personally don't get the hype with it because everytime i see him playing, he's just walking around or riding some animal and i have never see any action. Home looks cool but it's just another excuse for people to be hermits.

I would say PS3 sucks but I honestly don't know one person who actually owns one so i haven't had a chance to play with one yet

well the PS3 has great hardware, thats a fact. It's the lack of great games that is hurting it

Yes but how many games does it have? It is a gaming machine and it lacks in that department. Xbox now has more exclusives and every game thats on both PS3 and Xbox are all rated better on Xbox.

 

Its a fancy lobby. They should concentrate on games and not the lobby, 360 has all that already so why wait for PS3 to catch up.

They are going to nickle and dime you on clothes lol. Ps3 is not original they are the Kias of the video game world. Lets steal other companys look and style then repackage it.

 

The Playstation has out lived the every major game system since the N-64, and I have zero doubts it will hand the microsoft and Nintendo its *** in no time. Don't forget the Playstation put sega outta business as far as developing game consoles go, and nearly put the Nintendo out as well. Hell, the only thing nintendo had was its gameboy and then sony came out with the PSP...The PS has dominated the game scene for the last decade and I don't see them going down anytime soon..

 

Wow. I would rather let my kids play graphic/violent games all day than play that ****. I mean, I guess that's great that technology has come so far, but kids need to go out and learn how to develop real life social skills.

 

Everyone has to fall at some time. PS3 will never catch up to the Wii and the 360. It's already far behind. Sega put itself out of business when it designed a shitty console (Dreamcast). Besides, games are where the companies make their money anyways. I will admit that PS2 has a good run going, but it doesn't say much for the PS3 when your older system is constantly outselling your newer one. Until Sony can produce better games, I'm not impressed. Hell they had to copy Microsofts online marketplace. Sony never fails to over hype things and then never delivers.

wii is good but not really for the teenish age group

I have a Wii as well and I would say it's more of a party type game. The only game I have for it other than the sports is Zelda. I've always loved that game, but nothing else on the Wii really interests me.

 

The Wii is truly the gayest game console I've ever seen...I think its made for little kids...

 

yet it is kicking the crap out of PS3. I'm not saying it's a great system or anything. I would definitely take my 360 over it, but it is fun to play when you have a few people to play it with. The sports game is fun and the system as a whole is very innovative. Not saying there are great games for it, but I think it's a good idea that if kids are going to be sitting around playing video games, they might as well get off their fat asses and move around a bit.

No why do you ask? I'm just saying I love my ps3. Plus I get to play all my old games. This thing plays everything from the original ps...this thing is gold.....yesterday I was play the original RESIDENT EVIL...single handedly, it re-wrote the horror/shooter genre for ever......

Because you consistently bash any console that isn't a playstation. I prefer the xbox but don't feel the need to bash the PS3.
Also you must have one of the first ps3's because the 400 dollar 40 gig PS3 sony currently sells isn't backwards compatible with older PS games.
