Okay, so today i finaly got to start my new computer...
got a new 800Watt power supple running my 2 500gig hard drives, AMD 4200+ overclocked at 20% running at 2.65 for each core. 2 gigs of ram, and a video card from 97 just to get some picture out! I can't wait to see how nice and fast she runs... and now i will be able to properly run C++ when i get the program and learn how to use it...

 

almost impressed until the video card from 97 part....sooooo...what are your plans for 2 500gig hard drives? runnin your own server or just a major **** downloader?

well my video card will have to wait until i get the $$ to either run cross-fire or 1 really nice one..

and with the 2 500, um a combination of movies, music, small home made programs through C++, try to make more complex thing to put on it too.. games...

right now i have 1 250 with only 20gb left with 130 movies and 6000 songs... i have more on another computer not that one i want to put on.... to fill one of my 500's and then a 250 external, than the other 500 is going to be for my fun stuff and games...

Woot for the computer nerd in me...


also honestly i could fill both easy if i wanted to, just go up to my dad's office. i would have access to almost 1tera of memory.. in music and movies..
last he counted was in the 300+ range of movies, and i don't know how many songs... just one 250gig had 30,000 songs... so i don't want to count!

 

oh also while i am on computers, i will hi-jack my own thread...

anyone on this board know/use C++, Java, or AutoCad??

because i want to learn 1 or all of these.. and wanted to know how hard it is to pick up on them
