i did a ton of o.t and when the check arrives at the beginning of march i'm kidnappin my girl for a weekend getaway...whats a good spot for a couple to get away for awhile?...i was gonna surprise her and invite her to dinner in nyc...then take her to a restaurant in miami...i figure i'll throw the question out there cause its been 7 years we've been together and i'm running out of new places

from NY to FLA in a weekend? I would just find somewhere nice, close to home, where you wouldn't spend too much time traveling to and fro.. Maybe a nice lodge or resort close to home..

 

I'd just stick with Miami. There's so much to do there, it's unbelievable.

 

come ski in denver..... if you cant ski, just chill in the lodges in Aspen, Vale or Beaver Creek

 

Chicago tons of stuff to do especially if she hasn't been here before. Can't go wrong

Head to North Carolina or somewhere near the mountains. Not sure if it is snowy right now or not but they have lots of secluded 100 year old cabins around those parts. Depending on what your definition of a getaway is...a romantic secluded one is always nice especially after 7 years. Cataloochee or Asheville, NC is amazing from what I have heard. Tried to plan a trip to Cataloochee a few weeks ago but fell through.

i'm leaning towards that now that you mention it cause shes never been there before....my chick is from venezuela so she hasnt been to all the usual haunts and i love that mexican themed restaurant in epcot...the one that makes you feel like youre eating in the shadow of a volcano

If shes never been there, then you need to go. I would recommend alot longer than a weekend. Stay at a Disney Resort, you guys will have an amazing time. 4 or 5 days would be perfect. I went to that restaurant, its amazing. I love disney world for some reason. haha.

Pretty cheap too. I pulled off a 7 night stay, at a resort, plane, food, tickets included for 1,500. For 2 People.

 

i would love to take longer but she just started her job and cant take a vacation yet...so i'm kinda limited at the moment...dude if i could i would move in to disney world....(as for the accent its amazin...and the best is that shes gorgeous but doesnt have that american attitude our girls have like yeah i'm hot and i know it)
