well when i considered buying one, the dealership owner told me it'd be about the same as a porche 911. dunno how true that was, but I'm sure it's up there. my evo insurance is 400/mo...but I'm 18 and have had a fair share of tickets.

on my cobra I bought a value stated policy and was only allowed 3,000 miles a year. I paid $450 a year. When my car was my daily driver I paid right around $100 a month however I live in Atlanta; i am in my mid 30's with no tickets either.

I'm havin the O'l GT - Cobra debation. By the time I'm done with my GT, It would probably cost the same as a 800hp cobra. I'm about to turn 21 and I dont know if I can afford the insurance right now.

you can't. figure in your age bracket if you've had a ticket then you're hosed. Keep the GT. The cobra will probably zap you good.

I'm 30 with nothing on my record and I was paying $150 a month for my mach. Insurance cost a bit more in Cali so it's hard to guess what you'd pay in SC, but I'm assuming it wouldn't be pretty since your only 21.

Find a cobra online, get the VIN # and call and get a quote from your insurance company and then you'll know rather that us guessing
