Alright so its getting closer to time for me to move and I'm trying to decide where I want to finish up college. I already had applications sent out to Texas State in San Marcos and Texas Tech in Lubbock. Anyway just seeing if anyone here goes to any of those or knows friends/family that go to either of those. Do they like it? not like it? Or any other schools that you know of.. I'm looking for a fairly large division 1 school except UT is out the picture because there business school is apparently a bitch to get into. Any info would be appreciated!!

I would say Texas Tech, but thats only because i am in lubbock.. the school is really nice and BIG... plenty of hotties..
the downsides to Lubbock are:
Wind blows constantly
Tech has lots of construction going on around it because of a new highway.
Lubbock is kinda boring nothing really to do but to party..
good things
lots of nice cars. (check out racelubbock.com)
drag strip 45min away..
wide and open
but tech isn't a bad school

I thought about transfering to SHSU, I really like that school and would recomend it also. I spent a week with some friends in Bearcat village, freaking nice apartament type dorms, nice class rooms and campus (except the hills), and it is really close to Houston and surrounding areas. I don't think it is D1 though, and it is small.
A&M a possibility?
