are there any programs that will allow you to play a song, but fade the vocals out so you can just have the song with out the words or singers voice?

are you into downloading programs illegaly? because, i'm sure you can do a little research, get a p2p program and find someone who has something similar to what you are looking for

 

im sure there is a program out there but usually you would need to find the song with different tracks (not different song tracks) that have each instrument. just like how the studio has prior to them mixing the song together.

i have an atreyu cd with just the instruments. it pretty cool

no, everything I have on my puter is what I owned on cd. however most of my cd' were stolen from my car in 2004...but i still have the police report that way if the feds ever raid my house, i have proof that i don't have pirated music...lol. i was smart and backed everything up to my computer.

 

chances are there wont really be a program that will do it for you. Like purestang said, you need something with multiple tracks otherwise I don't believe you can do it. The final cd is recorded into one track and it would be kinda hard to seperate.

 

yeah i had to do a pantonmime. where you act with music that has no lyrics, and you cant say anything. and it was really hard to find music that didnt have lyrics. i ended up using a Rocky theme song that was turned kinda into a rap song with some nice beats.
