This guy taped himself going 219 in his murcuielego or whatever the ****, apparently he's a member on SVTP and someone ratted him out the to police and there's an investigation or some **** going on, and the site's down because of all the traffic going to the thread where this huge discussion was going on of people blaming each other and what not.
But yeah the video of him doing it is on myspace, it was taken off youtube..might be more places that have it.

The Arizona Department of Public safety is trying to determine the validity of a video showing a man driving more than 200 miles per hour in a Lamborghini on the Loop 202.
The video, which has been making rounds on the internet, claims the man reached a top speed of 219 miles per hour.
The video has appeared on both individual websites and on the popular video sharing site, YouTube.com.
In it, the Lamborghini appears to pass other vehicles on the freeway at the high rate of speed. The driver also appears to make a contest out of it all.
DPS has confirmed there’s a criminal investigation underway to determine the authenticity of the video.
The speeding appears to be happening on the San Tan Freeway portion of the Loop 202 in the Southeast Valley.
It's unclear when the video was shot.

219 in a Lambo is like 100 in a Mustang. the steering geometry is so different than that of a mustang.
those cars are made to run at high speed, and corner at high speed, granted not hairpin 90 degree turns, but the gentle curves you find on the highways. that lambo would have no problem doing that whatsoever at 219 mph.
it is dangerous to do that on a public highway anytime of day though...that guy would have been killed had a deer or something run out in front of him, or if a car hadn't gotten out of his way and he had hit the car.
he's got some brass stones that's for sure. 140 makes me white as ghost...cause my hood starts shakin, everything is a blur, and the adrenaline is pumping like crazy, and im worried about being a cop running radar up ahead, i can't image another 79 mph added on to that.

Edit:
Sources are saying the owner of the Lambo was indeed the owner of FTVgirls.com. He has very, very good lawyers. The information last night about him and a friend being arrested are false. They are still on the lam. He was ratted out by two people. One was a local person who was jealous of him and called in a tip to a local radio statio, who then contacted the feds. The other was an as yet unidentified poster on SVTP.

I'd probably rat him out also. Someone whos driving 219 miles per hour isn't only putting himself in danger but alot of other innocent people.
Thats one of those people that crash and when you see the scene, you couldn't tell if he had been driving a lamborghini or a Plymouth Horizon.

You know, just thinking about it, there's really no difference in taking a lambo up to 220 and a mustang up to 140. at either of those speeds, things like seatbelts and airbags are pointless---you wreck for any reason and you're not living. At the same time, if you hit another car at either of those speeds, they're not living through it either.

And speaking of Murcielagos, I just saw one on the freeway today going into work. Damn sexy cars and they sound very nice as well.

Tis true. I want to have sex with a Murcielago.
