I am curious to know how many smokers/non smokers there are out there?

I used to be 1 pack+/day for many years.

 

i smoked from 1993 - Sept 7, 2007.

I started at the age of 13 and quit this past summer.

reason I quit was I fell off a balcony on 9-6-07, and broke an arm and a hip, and I was so medicated for 2 or 3 weeks, that when i could finally get around, i lit one up and it tasted like garbage, so i gave it up...threw an entire carton away.

i used to smoke about 1 to 1.5 packs a day.

on Dec 7, it will be 3 months since my last cigarette.

the first 2 or 3 weeks after I had quit I had a few withdrawals when i would drink a beer, but if i didnt drink, i had no withdrawals or cravings. now i can drink and not have any cravings at all.

 

no, never have even tried one....smoked the herb in high school a little bit, but never a cig

 

im still in high school. and i never got into it. but had one every now and then when i drank.

bout half a pack a day of marlboro reds for a year

 

i smoked snce i was 14 went in to the marines smoked more andthen got out and cut back and i still smoke so my answer iss that i smoke

 

Yeah, unfortunately.. I got up to about 1 - 1 1/2 packs a day for a couple of months about 4 months ago and finally decided that it was starting to get out of hand, especially since the taxes went up AGAIN here in TN. Since then I've gotten down to less than 1/2 a pack a day (depending on my stress level) and am hoping to kill the habit before new years..

All I can say is.. If you don't smoke then don't start, it's nasty, makes you smell bad, and costs alot of ******* money..

Around here if you smoked one pack a day every day of the week it would end up costing about $1,200.00/yr. The best I can estimate is prob. about $3,000.00 in the last 3 years... That sucks..

yeah...i've cut back a lot though. I was smoking 2 packs of newports a day. I can't even smoke a menthol anymore. I'm with parlament full flavors. I'll quit one day. just not today.

 

Nope....never smoked. For those that do, that is their right, but if you want to quite, spend a day at a children's hospital in the cancer floor. Watch all those kids struggle for their lives everyday with radiation and chemo....then see if you can inhail a smoke after that. Makes you think differently.

just quit after 21 years of pack-a-day or better. I liked smoking. I enjoyed it but it's expensive and bad for you and so I said fugg it.

yeah it sucks. definitely never start. i never wasted money on it. just borrowed from friends or whoever.
