2 boys aged 8 and 9 are charged with raping an 11 year old girl...how is that possible? put aside the fact that i dont even think an 8 year old **** can penetrate ANY opening and put aside the fact that even at 16 a girl had to tell me where what went....i dont think we as men have a right to charge a baby with a crime like rape....the prosecutor said that even though no force may have been used the fact that the girl was too young to consent still meant they would charge rape.....

Yea..the way things work is very strange. It bothers me that they are willing to toss young kids in jail..but it also bothers me knowing that these two boys might actually know what goes where..makes me wonder who taught them it..

But the 17 year old kid down the street that raped 4 girls in my neighborhood managed to get away with it because the girls were over 18, and he wasn't. Not to mention, only one could give the positive ID, because he didn't hit her in the back of the head. (Guy got dealt with on the streets from what I know anyways.)

 

thats messed up. the parents should be charged with not keeping an eye on their children. how is it 8 and 9 year olds are running around w/out supervision.

parents have no responsibility. they oughta make people get a license to have children.

at the very end of the article it said that they were changing the chagre b/c state law said you cant charge a person under the age of 13 with a felony. Its going to be soething else but it didnt say

I heard a blurb of this on the news last night before heading to bed and they said even if they were found guilty no charges would be brought before them. So you dont have to worry about them sitting in jail, this world is going to crap in a hand basket real fast as of lately!

I still think charges should noted on there records to follow them, because I am sure this wont be the last time they have a attempt at this in there life, now they have learned they can do something so wrong to woman and that they can actually get away with it too...whats that teach our younger society - do something and know wrong will come to you!

 

how do you know that the girl didnt want it so to speak? She could have truely wanted to do this but after doing so she didnt want to get in trouble so she told. (Devil advocate)

I've never had that problem but probably from my curiousity that started at a young age. Plus, even if you know where you had to stick it, doesn't mean you know what to do with it. ;-)

 

Our Criminal Justice system is a pile of crap. The more I study it..the more I realize how whacked it is...with that said....most states can charge children with crimes at the age of 8. I however think that a child of 8 and 9 are uncapble of forming the intent to rape someone nor would they know how to perform such a task! If I were the parents of the 8 and 9 year olds I would claim that the 11 year old girl coerced my child to whatever she alleged charger are against them! Our Courst sytem is however tend to side with females when it come to the subject of rape...soo...this case could get pretty interesting...

Of course they should be charged, they did the crime, they better as hell do the crime if there is any justice in this system. They knew damn good and well what they were doing, after all, with current sex education and what is constantly seen in the media they knew what they were doing and should be held accountable. Dont give me this "Oh they are 8 and 9" bullcrap, that is the absolut reason why we SHOULD charge them as adults! If we dont curb this behavior RIGHT NOW with those kids they will grow up and do this again, and again, and again, and again, and then how many more jacked up children with emotional sexual trama will we be dealing with? and how many children will those victims rape?

All of you who think they should be let go would probably be thinking a little bit different if you had a kid of thier own.

Charge them, process them, make a media circus and show the other potential 9 year old rapists that america doesent give a crap how old you are, the time of anarchy and chaos among the children has to stop! Children have to play by the same rules as the adults!

OH jack...there is more to committing a crime than actually doing it! Regardless of what you might think..they are children and just for a minute think about it! Can a child of such young age know exactly what he was doing! I bet that they didn't! Who's to say that the girl isn't lying about the whole thing and it was actually her that initiated the contact! I don't know about you but I don't recall the ability to get it up at age 8!

 

I see your point jack but I just cant agree with you. Yes I dont have kids, but I just cant see kids this young knowing that what they did was rape. I dont think a kid that age could even plan this sorta thing. A 9 year old pling to rape some one, I just cant believe that they could do that. yeah maybe a teenager but a kid that age. 1 - Kids lie

2 - Rape can mean lots of things qnd is not always what it appears.

This may not be rape, but nothign more then inquisitive kids. Does it make it right? No. And the situation should be dealt with appropriately. These kids don't need jail, but counseling.

Kids have played "If you will show me yours, I will show you mine" for a million years. I bet we are dealing with nothing more then over-zealous prosecutors and parents of a little girl who can't seemto face the facts that their daughter is probabloy a guilty participant to curiosity gotten out of control.

****, deal with the situation and move on. All these stupid lawyers are going to achieve by grandstanding this case is ruining the lives of three children and three families.

they're innocent until proven guilty. you don't know the facts. only what the media is reporting, and as we all know most of what the media reports is garbage anyhow.

responsible reporting is a thing of the past. if you want proof of that just look at when #6 Blue Angles Pilot Kevin Davis died when his plane crashed last year. CNN said "we cannot release the name of the pilot until the family has been notified" but yet on the front page they had a picture of the plane with the #6 on the tail fin and a caption that said "#6 Blue Angel crashed today after experiencing engine failure". so any person with any intelligence whatsoever knows to go to the Blue Angels website and look up who is Pilot #6...duh! Since that, I don't pay any attention to CNN and I don't believe what they write anyhow...just a bunch of vultures out for the hottest story.

so until it's "proven" these kids did said acts, they're innocent. little girls do lie for attention, and this might mean something is going on at home as well...dad touching her or brother or uncle or some crazy crap like that...you never know anymore.
