She's finally mine!!
Yesterday I made the final payment on my stang!!! I'm glad I don't have a car payment anymore! It will be nice to finally have some cash in my pockets and maybe I can finally pay my credit card debt!!

....I'm extremely relieved!!!

Congrats, BUT, you are gonna wonder where that cash went that you USED to spend on your car payment. Kinda like when you quit smoking and can't seem to find the $30+ a month you spent on the coffin nails.
My car started with a 450/mo payment. But i overpay every time by 25-100 bones... now I can send as little as 250/mo for the duration of my loan term if I want to end it on schedule. At this rate I should have it paid off almost a year early. I took a super low interest loan over 66 months knowing that the extra interest from the longer than normal term was going to be displaced by reduction in the principle. Overpaying will have saved me over 5K in interest.
Congrats on the pay-off. Now you can lower that bad boy.

dont lower the insurance...that was my big choice when i paid off mine...but i decided that even though you arent mandated to have the full insurance by the bank it still makes sense to have it...anything could still happen
What are you guys talking about 4x4? I posted some pics some months back!I have coil overs in the front with a 2.5 inch drop!.I don't even have the same rims anymore.

thats hardcore man...its october...you must have bought that thing last month
seriously you should have just waited a month or two and bought the thing in cash then.
Congrats 4.6 on getting the title. We don't see too many posts like this around here....only people spending more money.
I paid-off my stang and my Suburban last year. Payment free is a nice way to live.
As far as the payment amount being high, that depends on the term and many other factors. Maybe he had a 36 month loan.

I bought it about a week or two ago and tried to get the cash first, but I'm in TX and my bank is in WI, and I forgot my PIN number, blah blah blah. I'm kind of impatient sometimes.

Anyway, once I get that squared away, it'll be time to mod. After all, Texas Hot Rods is right down the street!
Alright, sorry about that OP, [/hijack]
WTG. I still have 2 more years @ 440 a month. Cant wait till she's all mine. Wifes Concorde will be be paid in full next year. But now she wants a Lexus or maybe a Jaguar.. LOL, Payments will keep on coming for one thing or another..
