well tonight i saw a nice looking Z28 camaro w/ writing on the window from going to the drag strip at the light i asked i want to talk can you pull into that parking lot, forgetting that you can't be in a schools parking lot after so late, after talking for about 15 min a cop shows up, gets all our info, then another cop shows up.. we still talk and the cop takes about 30 min to get our info and stuff back, i bet he was wondering what was going on. a black convertible z28 camaro and a black convertible mustang gt sitting in a empty parking lot. I wanted to race but knew i would get killed, but i talked to the guy and he said all tehy have on teh car is longtube o/r x and a new muffler with turndowns, looked and sure enough that was all i could see, he said he ran a 14 exact does that sound right to yall??

I also wonder waht the cop though when i started my car with or and flows and they started there with or and other type of muffler, bother pretty loud, but his was louder. but sounded very nice i might say, the x gives the car a nice tone..

 

He probably had a pre-98 LT1 camaro. If he had an 98+ with the LS1, it would surely be faster.

 

no ticket but the cops made us sit there for like and extra 45 min, and were trying to be realy hard@sses about us being there.. but i think its kinda funny the cop didn't just come up say yall can't be here can yall move

 

they were prob just checking to see if you had any criminal background

 

The fastest stock down to the paper filter ls1 camaro i've seen in person went 12.96's back in '02 or '03..I forget..the guy driving it was a bad motherfawker..

 

If it was an LS1 car, its running terribly, or he cant drive, should be in the low 13's or high 12's with the longtubes/x

If it were an LT1, sounds about right.

 

Here in Pinellas County (I'm sure it's the same almost everywhere else) it is against the law (basically tresspassing) to be on school property after hours. Not really a big issue. The cop/deputy probably just did what's called an FIR (Field Interview Report) and documented that he spoke w/two people there. Basically all it does is tie you to a certain place and time. Should there be any burglary or criminal mischief at the school that night it shows you being there. Nothing to sweat tho.

Maybe you will get your chance to line up w/the slo-maro some other time/place.
