The reason for the sale was because it has had so many problems with it lately, i've gotten tired of it. It FINALLY got running again this past weekend with the new motor and tranny (3650, no more auto), so it'll be tuned within the next 2 weeks and i'll update you guys with some numbers. Most likely there will not be any nitrous on it, but one day there will be again.

after my Stang is paid off, I'm getting a Vette. I can pick up a nice used 99-02 with about 50K for under $30,000. hehe.

Just goes to show you that you don't get out what you put in to it as far as money goes.

While life changes and people change their priorities, I got to ask this question mug:

"Did you not realize that you were going to go to college someday?"

Not trying to criticize as we all do this in our own way, but if you were my kid, I think I would force you to keep it just to teach you a lesson - lol

Anyway, get that dam thing running so you can at least enjoy it.

How you liking Lubbock? I was born just outside of town on Reese AFB, lived there off and on for about 8 years. My parents still live there and I can't say that I much like to visit the place.

Yeah i knew i was going to college, but didn't figure i'd have this much crap into my car till my 2nd or 3rd year there, lol. I had been collecting parts for the new motor and suspension for awhile, just pieceing it all together pretty cheaply. Before i knew it i had almost everything to do the swap, thanks to working $11 for a year with no bills really (living at home). Ran into problems and here i stand. Ending up spending as much as a whole motor swap, but really didnt come out upside down since i saved so much piecing it all together myself (i.e. alum block: $100). But anways, my parents have been trying to get me to sell it and cut my losses, but I can't bring myself to do it, even getting offered 18k and 17.5k... i was really tempted. But owning this car since new and putting all this effort into it, i just couldnt. Thankfulling we have an extra vehicle in the family for me to drive... 95 silvy, hell ya.

So long story short, i'm sure whenever it gets tuned and i bring it up here to tech, i'll love every minute of it, until I have enough money to buy me another vehicle, and put those twins on i've always longed for.

Sorry for the essay

Cool, I hear ya, I do miss the summer nights in Lubbock and given the choice of living on the high plains or in a swamp, I'd take the plains too. TT is a good school, beautiful campus and has lots of hot chicks, can't go wrong there either.
