no more clutch!
Well, the supercharger claimed it's first victim. I'm not sure but I think it's the cable assembly for the clutch. the clutch didn't smell fried up so hopefully it's not that. I'll get under there and take a look when I have some time and some daylight!

Get the Steeda Double hook quadrant & Firewall adjuster.....you can use your stock clutch! Works great!

Yes, I know I need a stronger clutch.. I'm not finding anything wrong with the cable assembly, but I can't look at how it's working under the car while pushing the pedal so I'll have to get a friend over here to take a look at that. There was some shredded clutch material in the bell housing though so I might as well replace the clutch regardless.

How? New clutch and re-gearing? Then I re-gear the auto and they're on par with eachother again?
A torque converter can do so much for an automatic. The biggest advantage it has is consistency. Try banging through the gears yourself on a 10 second car and see how difficult it can be to shift that fast.
Each has their advantages and disadvantages. Don't rule one out either way.
