Default Shelby GT

Went to my local dealership yesterday to pick up some oil and oil filter and they had a white Shelby GT for sale.....$54,000 for it! F THAT. Sticker price was a little over $30k, but dealer markup brought it up to $54k.

I'm waiting for the bullitt, boss or mach 1 to come out, but if they are going to be crazy priced like that I'll have to pass.

Word on the street is that they are more "collectable and valueable" than the GT500. I sat in one at Chicago Auto Show 07 and they are stock inside with an aftermarket shifter from what I could tell. I think it had white faced gauges as well.

interesting....well, that would explain the price tag. It was for sure a nice car. This car had navigation, aftermarket exhaust, shifter, and white face guages. Pretty nice car, but damn $54k.

I was at a dealer in Elkhart, IN the other day looking for Roush info for my dad and they had a black Shelby GT. They where asking MSRP for the Shelby GT but had a waiting list at $15K over for the GT500s.

Go figure.
