Default Anyone heard of the European made Ford Falcon?

After looking at that car and reading it's specs and seeing the pics..really dissapoints me to see that Ford, an American based company, has way higher quality cars being built in Europe...sucks.

Awesome looking car though, I wouldn't mind it.

What do you think ?

Yeah, Austrailia has tons of high horsepower factory cars and actually thats what the website represents. The GTO is actually a Holden from Australia with Pontiacs stamp on it. Ever see the 2002 Cobra that made it over there? Theres only 100.

Actually, we are the only dumbasses in the world who dont use the metric system. We should be just like canada and change everything overnight. Its a far easier system.

the metric system is easy to use because everything is a fraction or multiple of 10. there are also base units for measurments like meter for length gram for weight and litre for volume.

obviously standard is easier... you've used it your entire life and so has everyone you know and everything around you. The only places in the world where they use our standard system is for plumbing pipes and tires. lol

Think this is what it is, it's early so my math sucks right now:

260kw = 260,000 watts / 745 (1 horse power = approx 745 watts)

= approx. 348 horse power (guessing non-rear wheel)

As for Nm
From an article 440Nm = 325 lb/ft and 350Nm = 258 lb/ft
So 440/325 and 350/258 both = 1.34589147

500/1.34589147 = 368.5714286

So... 500Nm = approx 368 Lb/ft

So the car has, if I did this correctly:
348 Hp (brake?)
368 lb/ft

I hope my math is wrong because that makes the Ford 2v v8 look like a pos.

that would be a flywheel rating so its about 300 rwhp. we have a lot of restrictions over and and DOT is MUCH MUCH more strict than ECE and others are.

the metric system; great for engineers, bad for everyone else.

funny thing about hot canadian girls, you gotta pay a cover charge to see them and a looney (or $10) to "dance" with them.

for the most part, canadians are the most level headed people, until you get them at a hockey game. they turn into raving ****ing lunatics!

ya whistlers pretty dope ( bout an hour from my house ) and yes we have good girls and yes we go nuts about hockey ( CANUCKS OWN!) and yes we HATE quebec. so basically stfu greg, america's pretty sweet, but so are we.

p.s. a loonie is one dollar not ten dunno what ur talking about :P

the metric system makes a lot of things easier

ex. 100 cm in a meter, 1000 m in a km
1000g in a kg
1000ml in a litre
nice easy numbers instead of 5260 ft in a mile

It just cuts down on math errors, but the thing is we dont even use it much other then for distance and groceries. We still all use lbs for our weight and ft/in for our height. So its kinda f'd up that way.
