Default Starting car without the driveshaft

I've had the rear axle assembly and suspension out of my car for about 2 months and I about ready to start working on the engine. I probably won't get it all back together for another 2 months. The car has a 5 speed and I'm wondering if starting it up without the driveshaft in the trany will produce any bad results??? I'd like to start it up and run it for 5 minutes or so just to move the oil and gas around in the system. The fuel has been treated with plenty of stabilizing agent.

Go ahead and run it. Remember, your drive shaft doesn't move unless your car is moving also.

Watch out for tranny fluid coming out of the tailshaft housing, especially if you accidentally put it in gear.
