Barricade vs bumblebee

ya'll act like the Camaro is the only overpriced vehicle out there and it won't last because of that. what about the Shelby Cobra.... pay $60,000?? when it doesn't even look that different than a GT. everything these days is a hell of a lot more expensive. freakin brand new trucks costing $40,000 easy.

I agree, but I think people are talking about the base price. A mustang GT is priced properly I think, however the base Z28 or SS Camaros were quite a bit more expensive than mustangs and didn't sell all that great if I remember correctly. Yes, the Shelby's are all overpriced, but it's a special edition car so that is to be expected. Ford knows they have to keep the price of stangs down or else the common person won't be able to afford one and if that day comes where the common person can't afford a mustang...say bye bye to stangs.
Mustang GT's shouldn't really go any higher than about 19 or 20K.
same with Camaro's, Challengers, Chargers.
The upper model Vettes, Shelbys, Hemi Charger/Challenger should be between 25K - 30K.
this stuff is all way overpriced, and i wont pay that much for something...i'll just wait about 4 or 5 years and pickup something used with low mileage for way cheap.
that way I still have a nice car, I don't lose the resale value after I drive it off the lot, and I'm not getting gouged out the yin yang!
