Are you serious!!
I dont know about you guys but the old taurus is one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen so why would ford go back to that name. Even though they sold more than the 500 its still the same car

I don't know why Ford thinks the Taurus is gonna make a big difference in their like $8 billion loss in like 3 quarters. The Taurus was nothing special and will still be nothing special especially with Ford just changing the name of the 500.

I dont think its a bad idea to bring the Taurus name back, it really wont affect much. The 500 doesnt sell well because it sucks compared to a Altima/Maxima, Accord, Camry/Avalon, etc.
Its boring, its severely underpowered, and its not that well priced imo. Yeah with rebates you can get them cheap but if you build a good car that is price competitive you dont need rebates.
The Fusion is a good looking car that seems to be pretty well built but it also is too underpowered to compete in the midsize class.
Ford just doesnt get it. You cant make cars that are almost as good or just as good as Toyota or Honda, you have to be better to get your reputation and marketshare back.

Ford doesnt learn, the only thing going right is the Mustang which is underpowered. As you know history tends to repeat itself so alot us will be getting spanked by other car manufactures will smaller engines. Its good that they keep the Taurus name but man put more HP in that to compete with the Camry.
