Default is this safe???????

Saw this car on mustang world and was wondering if its safe running that much boost and power. I know to be safe 94-04 stangs have to keep it under 400hp without forging anything in the engine and he is running like 480hp

Is this safe anyone know anything bout the new engines?

You are correct. That guy is making too much power and the motor will be toast. BUT, he says he is building a short block, so he probably does not care. Whic is kind of silly because he could get some nice coin for that motor.
BTW, those 3v motors hold-up better, but I just don't know how much.

I'm sure he'll be fine as long as he doesn't beat on it... if he starts romping the gas at every green light then no doubt he'll end up throwing a rod or succeed in making the motor go kaput...

hes fine, its only runing at 10psi 3v can take much more and are more responsive to boost, you put 10 #'s of boost on a 2v you should be right around 400-420rwhp, witch is ok for a 2v.

I would love to put a KB on my 3v, i could make sooooooo much power especially with having 350rwhp NA and having forged internals
