i splurged and got the Nikon D80 with a 18-135mm lens!

should ship soon...and be here by the weekend or monday...

Sweet camera. A little too expensive for me though. I went with the Rebel XT.

 

yeah...christmas/parents/paying out the kazoo for several months....lol

i was planing on a d50, but my photography "mentor" convinced me not to...lol

my family and i are probably going to hawaii for Christmas...so it will be awesome..
i wanted/needed a better camera because iv had several jobs already...so i can take more with this one..lol

i called before it shipped and ordered 2 day shipping yesterday....so it WILL be here friday...
then i have to learn it because i have a Christmas party to photograph....

umm dude...there is no d90...lol...
some people thought the d80 would be called the d90...but they called it the d80..lol

so the "d90" is the d80....lol..

(well that was confusing...)

 

That is one awesome camera for sure.

 

did not have the money for the d80, so i went with the d50 and have had no problems at all, sure i am not a professional but it is a real good camera

 

any nikon is good!!
they all take respectable pictures
